A must for Computer Historians
I am still in the middle of reading this book but as I expected Walter Isaacson has done a first class job on his research and his style of writing is clear and easy flowing but still manages to provide in depth studies on the Innovators of the computer age. When I have completed this book I will update my post.

Useful as a reference
Not as lucid as Isaacson’s other books, but perhaps the topic is to be blamed for that. The history of computing is so jumbled that it is heroic enough to encompass it in one book. That this book does well.
