Actually removes odors
This stuff works. It smells really gross when its damp on a surface, but when it dries the original odor is actually gone. We had a house fire a few months ago. We are in a rental right now, and all our furniahings and belongings are second hand, or are things we've tried to save from our home. Everything has a weird smell. Its been really hard for me to feel comfortable when everything smells. Before someone thinks, 'just plug in an air freshener', I have a medical condition that makes me overreact to synthetic scents/perfumes. An attempt to use frebreeze on a second hand sofa left me with a headache and dizziness for 2 days. Frebreeze used to make a scent free product, but they don't anymore. So I went looking for a scent free deodorizer, and found this one. I was surprised how well it worked. As I mentioned above, it has a gross smell when its damp on a surface, once it dries, all odor is permanently gone. It even has effect on mild smoke damaged items. It works on sports gear. It works on upholstered furniture. It works on old suit jackets. It works on carpet. We have pets, including rabbits and it has not affected them though I keep them away from the area I have sprayed until dry. It has never given me a headache or dizziness, nor has it ever irritated the skin of a kid who's worn the sports gear after this has been applied and dried. I'm back to order the second bottle. This product has been imported in our family's recovery from this devastating event as we try to peice together a home and life.

Restored my nosesight! My nose can come out from hiding! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
So I'm about to be one of THOSE reviewers. You know the ones. With the hyperbole, the improbable story, the exaggerated claims about the product... Yeah. So I bought a real throwaway backup vehicle. My "real" car was going to be some time in the shop and there was a company spare vehicle, part of an obsolete fleet and just used for quick deliveries to field personnel. It was scratched and dented, sounded ragged and clanky as it ran, but it still ran. I figured I'd just let the mechanic give it a look to make sure it would break down and have me stranded and it would be relegated to emergency use once my vehicle was back. I drove it home a couple Fridays ago. And suffered a drive marked by a foul miasma. It sat at home as I got the insurance and registration taken car off. Good weather so I opened it up to "air out". Paperwork complete, I drove it to the mechanic (and apologized for the smell), then to my carwash. Took the interior detailing special. And watched it worked on, just the interior, for a solid 50 minutes. Got it back with the stench seemingly under control. Not smelling wonderful but not overwhelming. Unfortunately, so it stayed. Not quite like being in a dumpster but as you drove, you knew the dumpster was in the neighborhood. A pervasive stink. It was not an environment that let you get out f the car feeling that your cologne was still the only scent you carried. SO I started in with my own labor - my never-fail-Bissell. Disinfectant. Deodorizers. Deep scrub. Fog treatment. Nope. This scent is forever. I'm thinking that, emergency vehicle or not, my wife will not voluntarily sit in this ever again and, if driving it, I'm going to have to sail pass any acquaintances I see because I can NEVER allow anyone to sit in and smell this. Meanwhile I discover that the vehicle is an olfactory office legend. The consensus was that that vehicle would need to have all the carpet/fabric/upholstery and odor-recipient surfaces replaced. Sigh. I hit the vehicle with ozone sprays, essential oils in a portable diffuser, Lysol, Febrile and yet another round of shampoo, including the headliner. Nope. Still the scent of defeat (and de feet). But I'd bought this and had it long before the vehicle acquisition, meaning to use it to address a storage space that cats had gotten into. I never used it then but maybe...? I sprayed the (cleaned yet again, but still foul-smelling) vehicle with this product. I used about two-thirds of the can, covering everywhere. Closed it up and gave it 2 hours. And came back to a miracle. The car simply does not smell bad. There is a mild "laundry" type of scent. The scent of some sort of cleaning activity having taken place recently, if you will. It is astonishing. I spent a solid week getting into this vehicle and being daunted by the smell each time. I despaired of finding a way to get rid of the scent as so many obvious solutions had failed. So I concede that this sounds like an improbable piece of overhype but I found the product to be one of those that actually lived up to what I'd read as overhyping and I felt compelled to contribute my account of its prowess. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A+ works great
This is the best product I have for odor control on clothes and carpet and whatever else you spray it on. The spray performance is great. There’s no scent easy to use and a great value. I recommended to anyone who wants to control odor on clothes. Specially cigarettes.

WORKS, but with caveats...
I've been dealing with a lingering odor in my apartment utility closet for the last few months. I sprayed Zero Odor all around the closet, and it worked almost instantly, although the source of the odor (old, smelly wood supports for the furnace) still smelled somewhat bad. Even after several treatments, the wood still stinks, but the rest of the closet smells fine. If you use this, make sure the SOURCE is removed. If you have a kitchen trash can that's piling up, empty the trash and THEN spray. I also sprayed some in the air to help with the general apartment smell in my living room, but it only seemed to work temporarily, and the tracer scent lingered for several hours. The tracer scent isn't unpleasant by itself, but if you spray lots and lots, it might be bothersome. TLDR Zero Odor works REALLY well for surface-level odors AFTER the source of the odor has been cleaned/removed. I don't recommend it as an air freshener.

Removes odor without covering it up with other scents
We have dogs and grandchildren, enough said. In the cooler months we are able to open up the windows for some good airflow and get some fresh air. When the hot summers are here we choose the a/c and keep the windows closed, that’s when odors are most noticeable. Even with regular cleaning and more than occasional deep cleaning, things get smelling a little stale. My husband doesn’t like anything with a ‘cover up’ smell and other typical disinfectant sprays don’t leave a very pleasant after smell. In my search for something to help, I came across this and it had a lot of great reviews so I gave it a try and it is absolutely the answer! It deodorizes and while at first it does have a slight cleaner scent to it, that goes away very quickly.. it removes the odor without leaving a smell that even my husband can detect. It is my quick ‘pre guest’ go to, a few quick sprays and I know that every smell I have gone nose blind to will be taken care of. The spray bottle is excellent and provides an even spray without leaking. I ordered another larger refill container and plan on routinely using this.

This really works!
Amazing product! My home smells so clean after I spray this. It is now one of my staple cleaning products.

Odor Eliminator or Odor Replacement?
It’s a spray not in the same sense of Ozium, where it evaporates into the air. This works differently—leaves behind a milky white residue and smells like the chemicals used to clean public restrooms. While it certainly eliminates odors, some could argue it’s an odor itself. For those who enjoy the smell of chemical deep cleaners like the ones used by carpet steam cleaners, you’d probably enjoy this very much. If odorless is the goal, I’d pass and keep searching. Definitely more of a house cleaning product for reaching tough odors. Even then I think there are better products out there. It really depends on preference but I do think the marketing is a bit misleading

The BEST odor remover!
This stuff WORKS! My male cat apparently sprayed an area on my sofa and I tried everything to try and get the smell out with nothing working. I saw an advertisement for this and thought what the heck I’ll give it a try. With 1 application it worked. I did use it a few times as to be sure the smell wouldn’t push through but it never did. Will definitely use this for everything from now on!

Excellent product - worth the $$$
This stuff is worth every penny. Unlike several other similar products I've tried, this really works on most unpleasant odours and on most surfaces. Zero Odor has worked on some clothing and facecloths that had gone sour & musty after being left balled up and damp too long. It worked on shoes that smelled really bad and did wonders for a suitcase accidentally stored away with damp beach towels inside. The suitcase was unusable because it smelled so bad. I used just one treatment, that wet the suitcase lining thoroughly with Zero Odor just one time. After it dried, the suitcase smelled fresh, clean, & neutral. It leaves no scent of its own behind, and the wet product has only a slight odour - so you can tell it's there until it dries. Worked on the few urine puddles left by my very old cat before she passed away too. It's colourless and so far it has not stained anything. I used it on a pair of black sandals that had uppers made with nubuck and cloth and it left no marks on them. The only thing it DIDN'T work on was a plastic cooler; left out too long with food going bad in it. It remained unusable until I found some volcanic rock deodorizer packs. They did the trick, though they had to be left in the cooler for a few weeks. It was usable after that.

It really works
I have a dog that peed on my carpet and on my rug. Despite washing the rug in the washing machine and using a carpet cleaner, i could not get rid of the smell. I bought a couple of products for specific pet stains, the main ones that are sold on amazon at a price range of £10 each. Nothing worked. This is a very expensive product so i really wanted to avoid spending this much.. however, since nothing else worked i decided to give it a try, at the end of the day there is always the option to return it. So i ordered it! I used it on both the rug and the carpet, one application was not enough, i actually did three. However there is absolutely no trace of the smell on both surfaces. The product itself smells of chlorine and bleach, but that smell goes away after a few hours and it is not overpowering. I decided to spray it also on my couch, and it made all the smell go away. After that i filled a spray bottle with a bit of fabric softener and water and sprayed it everywhere, carpet, rug and couch… my flat now smells so lovely and clean. This product does not cover smells, it makes it go away. I am so impressed and pleased. Yes it is expensive, but at the same time i spent as much money just trying different products that did not work. The bottle is big and it lasts for a while so i definitely think that it is worth the price. I Definitely recommend it

This Pro product is the next level of taking odors out more quickly than the other products
I started w/ the scented one, which gave me a bit of a headache, even though it's pretty mild. I'm chemically sensitive though, so thankfully discovered the unscented version for next time. I have cats and they go bonkers sometimes w/ peeing or pooping if they get locked in a room, or letting me know something is wrong. I've had 2 mattresses ruined from this, but w/ the Zero Odor pro, I'm going to see if I can salvage the second one. Clued in too late to get waterproof mattress protectors for me my queen. This stuff works gangbusters. I had a female, while in heat, pee in laundry and my craft basket w/ expensive yarn and cherished projects. I left them in a bin, for well over a year, outside, so they were good and festering in heat and every weather. It still completely removed the smell from the first project and yarn I treated. I used unscented oxy to soak after spraying liberally. Sprayed again, soaked again and everything came as good as new after air drying under a fan. I'm impressed. The pro is better than the regular formula. For those very fragrance sensitive like me, the Pro formula I found the easiest to tolerate. This one doesn't bother me like the regular formula. W/ the regular, I either got someone else to spray it, or I did it in short bursts and got the heck away. For those severally sensitive, there is that dreaded masking agent in all the formulas. For me it's tolerable and this stuff is terrific and will take away any smell, no matter how ground in or entrenched.

Extremely effective against dead rodent smell
Unfortunately for me, two field mice decided to build a condo inside the trunk of my car. Mind you, I use this car so I'm not entirely sure why they thought it was a good spot. They decided to build a nest in my trunk, under the safety tire. The problem is, it was the middle of summer where temperatures were in the early 30C. I believe they died of a heatstroke or just couldn't find their way out. I don't drive the car daily, so I didn't notice. I took it one day and the putrid smell hit me in the face like a thousand bricks. My car smelled like death. I went to see a friend to request help in trying to find what was causing this stench. We found 1 field mouse and thought it was it, cleaned the mess and put activated charcoal to absorb the smell. The following days, the smell got worse. I knew there were at least another mouse dead somewhere... but where?! I went to my car with my dog and ask him to jump in. He quickly found something interesting and started to sniff/paw/dig at a spot on the backseat. I knew where the stench was coming from... but how to get there was the challenge. After a few videos on how to remove the backseats, I went again to see my friend for assistance. We were successful in extracting dead mouse #2. But we were left with the smell of death. I tried other products to no success. I was desperate. I came upon this bottle and thought, well, if that doesn't do it, nothing else will and I will need to have my car detailed (pricey). I sprayed the car generously, on the fabric, where both mice were found, in the air, in the vents... everywhere! I closed the doors and prayed to the gods of nice smells. Two days later I went to check and noticed the smell was almost completely gone! I was blown away! I did another treatment and now everything is back to smelling normal. I absolutely recommend this product for dead rodent smells that linger in your car.
