Boiron Single Remedies Causticum 30C, Approx 80 Pellets

I got these for my 7 year old son to try. He really wants to go to sleep away camp but was too embarrassed with his bed wetting. We tried Desmopressin from his dr and it didn't help at all. After some research, I found this product and decided it couldn't hurt to try.It says to take it 3x a day but honestly my son has only been taking it at bedtime and let me tell you, IT WORKS! I don't know if it just has a placebo effect, but either way, my son has been dry the last week straight. Before that, he has never had a dry night.He has no problem taking the pills. He calls them his "pearl meds" and says they taste good, too!He got to wear underwear to bed last night and woke up dry. It has boosted his confidence and he can't wait to go to sleep away camp next month!

Easy to use. No side effects

You should try it for at least 4 days (following the homeopathic rule of 4) and taking it throughout the day (not just at bedtime). Do not take it with food; at least an hour ante- and post-cebum. Also, if you store homeopathic medicines near essential oils or other strong substances, it can weaken their efficacy. I tried this for my little girl and initially it did not work super effectively. I tried 200ck (and a different brand) at bedtime for almost a month (I was also storing it next to my essential oils and did not know to avoid meal times). It did help her stay dry during the day. It was not, however, until I gave her the 30c, 5 pellets t.i.d. (1h a.c./p.c.) that she was dry through the night. When I changed her dosage, it only took 4 days for her to wake up dry. The smile on her face was worth it all. Depending on what is causing your problem, or how long you have had it, it may take longer to see a difference. But do your own research and educate yourself. Possibly consider consulting a homeopathic doctor. They may be able to help you find what you are doing wrong (like storing it with e.o.'s or taking it with food). It is so worth it to see healing come to one you love (or even yourself). I know that this has boosted my daughter's confidence and helped cure her of something that was embarrassing for her.

Original review:Purchased to help 9 year old child with night time incontinence. Child is extremely deep sleeper, has dry nights interspersed with wet nights. Never an accident during daytime for many years, just at night because of deep sleep. Tried an alarm system for several months, was a total failure. Did not help to train him to wake upon wetness, but definitely helped the entire rest of the household to lose a LOT of sleep, as we all came running multiple times per night when the PIERCING alarm went off...only to find son fast asleep in a wet bed with the blaring alarm going off. After complete exhaustion and several months of frustration for all involved, we gave up, figuring he would "grow out of it." 2 years later, however, still an issue multiple nights per week. He is the type of child who falls asleep when head hits the pillow, and sleeps deeply through any noise, waking in the morning, but never before morning. This has begun to cause him embarrassment and frustration, which led us to seek out alternative solutions. We did not want to go the route of the medications prescribed by physicians until there were no other alternatives, so after much research, we decided to try homeopathics. So far, the 30C Causticum pellets have made a difference. We started out trying as suggested for a child dose: 3 pellets under tongue 3 times daily. This did not help at all. 1 dry night, then wet each night. He became very discouraged. Then, on a whim, we tried 5 pellets twice daily. The first dose around lunchtime, the second dose right before bed. So far, multiple dry nights last 2 weeks with last 6 in a row dry since we switched to the 5 pellets twice daily! Fingers crossed this will continue! I will update review with further progress.UPDATED 7/11/19: 4 star review decreased to 1 star based upon Amazon's careless packaging, sending us the WRONG pills not just once, but twice now, within 2 days!! CAUTION: SEE ABOVE PICTURES. As happened with another reviewer I noticed, when we received the 2nd bottle we ordered, the wrong pills were sent. We ordered Causticum, but received Hypericum perforatum instead, which states it is for nerve pain, not incontinence. Amazon, as usual, was wonderful with customer service, and sent a new bottle quickly, BUT, AGAIN WRONG PILLS! THIS TIME WITH DIFFERENT LABEL THAT SAID CAUSTICUM, PLACED OVER ACTUAL LABEL ON BOTTLE, WHICH SAID PILLS WERE ACTUALLY ANTIMONIUM CRUDUM, FOR INDIGESTION WITH NAUSEA! So what am I to believe is actually in the bottle? This is extremely unethical and unprofessional on Amazon's end. This is MEDICATION THAT A PERSON WAS TO INGEST!! I am extremely unhappy, and disappointed in this experience. If you do choose to order these from Amazon, the bottles and pills look exactly alike. Please always carefully read your bottle to make sure it is the right medication! I need to be clear. I love Amazon, order multiple products on a very regular basis. I will continue to do so, but definitely NOT for these pills. I have found the same product by same Boiron company in my local vitamin shop.I WILL still use causticum for my son, as I believe when we used the correct dosage for him from the 1st bottle of pills (the only bottle out of the 4 we have ordered that has actually been correct!), that causticum has helped to eliminate his nighttime bedwetting.Sorry so long, but felt it was important to explain!

OK. I have used a couple of tubes and they seem to help.I have been doing Kegel exercises while the pills dissolve. That may help too.My question is whether I need to take the Causticum forever.Thank you.
