Worked great for my home multiple split unit install.

This line set installed very easily. I installed three mini split indoor units and used this roll to make the runs. The copper felt lighter (thinner) that I'm used to working with. For this reason I used flexible bender strips to keep the pipe from kinking while making my tighter bends. I cut and flared all the ends. The tubing ended up with perfect flares on the first attempt and passed all leak checks (pressure and vacuum). This tells me the copper is good quality, uniform and clean. The line set functions well and has been running for several weeks without issue. The insulation material looks and functions very well. The tubing is not pre-charged for a DIY system. You will need a good understanding of plumbing, vacuum and refrigerant if your installing this line set yourself. I would call this a budget friendly line set that works well if you use care when installing it. It is a good value.

Do not use this brand. This type of tubing is welded and not extruded. These line sets do not meet ASTM B280 high pressure requirements which you will need for an R410A refrigerant. The copper is soft and when you’re torquing down your flare nuts, you will deform this material, causing leaks. I had a very short run from my compressor to my air handler, which was about 20 feet long. When I ran the vacuum test, I could not get it to stop leaking. I’m thinking it was the flare, so I re-flared the ends re-tightened and it leaked again I re-flared re-tightened and it leaked a third time. Very frustrating. I knew it wasn’t the compressor and I knew it wasn’t the air handler, so I decided there must be something wrong with the line set. When I finally replaced the line set, it worked and sealed the very first time. So there was something defective about that particular section of Icool tubing. I did a little more research and found that this tubing is not ASTM B280 compliant, and ended up ripping out all the line sets I ran and replacing it with VEVOR brand B280 compliant tubing. All connections torqued down tightly and passed vacuum leak test the very first time. Don’t buy this stuff. It is a time bomb waiting to leak.

I wish I would’ve purchased this before. I had the installation of my Mr. cool lines which they connect together and I had a leak not even after a couple of years . The main thing I like about this is the quality, and of course the fact that you can purchase up to 100 feet line with no interruptions. Absolutely great product. Great quality and the price. It’s very good as well.

line sets come with No FLARE & NUTS , The shipping company (loomis) did not delivered to my address and gave me an address for pick up. I have not install them but the line sets looks good
