High quality product
Trustworthy brand! I love every product I’ve tried so far by this brand. Excellent quality and is a great addition to every dish we make. Amla is great for a hair mask and the results were amazing. The products fo through lab tests and they don’t have binders or lead/chemicals and are certified USDA organic. Highly recommend and will buy again.

Works best in a smoothie....
This organic amla powder has a bit of a bitter taste to it so I generally use it in smoothies where it is not so pronounced. It gives a good dose of Vitamin C which is important for so many bodily functions. Vitamin C is great for immunity, and to help bring oxygen to the cells so they can help to repair themselves and correctly eliminate anything which has gone array. This is considered a nutritional powerhouse in ayurvedic healing so I'm happy I got the chance to try it. I will purchase this again and recommend it to others.I also made a paste of this with water and vinegar to use on my hair before showering. There are rumors that it can help with returning grey hair back to normal, but so far this is just an fun experiment.

Time will tell
I learned about Indian gooseberries and this powder after reading Dr Greger's book called how not to die. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it and suggest listening to it via audio. Dr greger talks about the anti-inflammatory properties that this has. I don't do smoothies and right now I am not eating any fruit to cut weight. Have you want to lose weight you need to cut out fruit. Just listen to Dr gundry's diet evolution book. So I just drink this with water and chug it. It doesn't taste good and is a little bitter. That's why it's best to put this in something to ask the sour after taste. But it's worth it to get the extra antioxidants. I've cut out all weight type products and vegetables that are high in lectin to cut down on my inflammation. I have bone on bone with my cartilage worn down in my left knee. I have severe arthritis inflammation in that knee and it hurts to walk. So I need to consume as much anti-inflammatory and antioxidant rich foods and supplements as I can. The stuff gets a five star because it is a superfood and also packs a ton of vitamin c. If you're experiencing arthritic conditions in your body then you should read Dr greger's book called the plant paradox. He really doesn't talk about this stuff but Dr Gregor's book did talk about this stuff more than once and that's what led me to find this.

High in vitamin C
Amla berries are packed with vitamin C, they are one of the fruits that has the highest content of vitamin C. Vitamin C is crucial for a healthy body. This powdered form is convenient to have on hand because it doesn't go bad as quickly as most fresh fruits do. We love adding it to smoothies, it has a sour, tangy taste but in smoothies, the tanginess is masked by other fruit. I usually pair it with a sweeter fruit like banana, mangoes, or blueberries and sometimes add a bit of raw honey. The bag doesn't always re-seal perfectly so I will be moving it to a glass jar.
