I'm quite surprised how good it is. I always disconnect it from the power source, and the next time I don't have any problems connecting through Bluetooth again. Brilliant.

Great little DAC although when you link via Bluetooth, be ready for some Chinese speech to come out. No idea what is says. Surprised me the first time. Optical cable supplied is a bit cheap but what can you expect for the money.

Cool thing; You can bluetooth to this and output either 3.5mm stereo or Left/Right phono sockets to your hifi or amp etc... This will also take the Toslink fibre optic (and a fibre cable is included too!), or digital coax. That's a great feature as many devices like satellite TV boxes, freeview boxes and modern TVs have toslink digital fibre outputs, and yet some amps and speakers still might not have that input! You can use this to convert your optical digital outputs to your stereo system. I note that the reference to the "192kHz" is a nod of recognition to the sample rate of the digital audio that this thing can convert to analogue. If you do a search for toslink bitrates and toslink sample rates, this unit should cope with most modern variants. Sounds good so far... This comes with its own UK plug 5 volt power brick. Using 5 volts it does make me wonder if it would be suitable for powering from a USB supply? I guess it would depend on the power output (as in the wattage) of the USB supply, so I'd suggest using the power unit that is supplied. Sound quality is quite good too. I ran a good test using bluetooth (which is easy enough to pair, just have a quick look in the manual) and it sounded pretty good. I did notice however a bit of background whistling noise between tracks so it's not great but ok in that sense as there is a little distortion to the quality as a result. If you're a hifi buff this might well annoy you too much (as it does me!) but for general purposes and for job as intended it's fine. Overall a nice bit of kit to provide connectivity solutions to your sound system. Bluetooth or coax or fibre in, stereo 3.5mm or phono analogue out. Plus this has an on/off/volume knob too! I received this product the next day, and had high hopes ( wrong ) changed sound outputs on TV to specifyed pcm. Switched unit on after connecting all leads nothing happened from the TV to Bose 5.1 surround. I could cast Amazon music to it but the sound quality was very poor even after adjusting the small volume control that's the only source that worked! Very disappointed.

You can't bluetooth radio , aux cable 3.5mm from android to speakers , YouTube you can because it is in a condenced format . Works great .
