Amazing tool
Picked this up after seeing a Incra Tiny-T ruler being used on a youtube video. I liked that this was 6inches vs the 3inch Incra. This thing is awesome and extremely convenient. It is accurate and smooth to use. It easily fits my 7mm mechanical pencil lead. Really I don't think I've bought a more useful tool recently. Great product for laying out lines and a great alternative to the higher priced brand.

GREAT ADDITION TO MY LAY OUT TOOLS
My order came fast and was delivered intact. The marking rule needed to be put together, no problem. The markings are clear and well etched into the body of the rule. This is going to really speed up the layouts, sometimes this takes up more time as you have to measure, mark, measure again, etc. This T rule makes layouts a breeze, fast and accurate. The cost was better than the Incra brand. I compared the accuracy to another Incra ruler I have and it was just as accurate.

Very small holes
This is a very niche product. Of course working with such small increments means the holes are hard to use and the metal is thin and flimsy

Only complaint I have is this
You will need to by a .03 mechanical pencil, not the .05 referred to in the description. Odd they would make such a sloppy mistake when selling precision. I have a .05 Pental, not even close. If you don't have that pencil, this will probably piss you off, the holes are that tiny. On construction and quality, the six inch size I ordered is plenty stiff enough, seems quality materials, though complaints are written on it being too thin. I do not feel that way. I make small objects out of wood, brass, and steel. This works for me.

Decent budget option
It’s square and it’s accurate. That’s what counts, right? Well, you have to be able to use it without any fuss. That’s where the lower cost bites you. The scribing holes are too small - despite advertising that the holes are made for 0.5 mechanical pencils, I found this isn’t the case, as the lead barely fits so you can only get the faintest of lines. Useless if you’re working on anything darker than pine. Since there are so many holes and the numbers are so small, it’d be really helpful if the holes for 1” increments were more easily identifiable. Larger number, larger holes, or holes on their own row; something, because as it is, it takes some time and eye strain to make sure you’re trying to poke a pencil into the aforementioned ill sized holes. Lastly, the metal ruler is a bit too flimsy for my taste. It’s not tin foil, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable casually dropping this next to me on the workbench after using it for fear of bending the ruler.

It Gets The Job Done!
The only issue I have is that the print is too small to read comfortably. If your eyesight is 20/20 then you're golden. Otherwise, break out the bifocals.

Outstanding marking device
This product is great for marking parallel lines on any woodworking project. This helps to keep you honest when laying out dados on your project. The metal plate is lightweight so be careful when handling but because of its accuracy I think most woodworkers would be fine using it. Highly recommended product.

Accurate but delicate
Accuracy is great but the 0.5 lead that must be used doesn't hold up that well for marking materials. You'll have to keep it in the original box and hang it on the pegboard to prevent damage to its delicate blade. Back to using the utility knife.
