Q: Are they soft? My son is very sensitive and I want him to be comfy.

It is soft, 100% cotton except with the waste band but it is quality.Just be sure to get 2 sizes bigger... my grandson is 2 - I bought a 4 yrs size andit fit perfect. Cotton shrinks a bit. Excellent purchase I made. :)

They don't shrink, but you might want to get the 4T to be sure they aren't too tight on his legs.

Q: My son is almost 3 but has a 18 month old waist. Would this fit him? He's 26lbs.

My almost 2.5 year old wears a 2T short size, has a 19" waist, and a 13" crotch length. These fit him just right.

No it’s not. I bought the 18 and it was sent as 18months.
