This dice is simple, smooth edged, and the size of a tennis ball. It would definitely crack a glass table if youre not careful so always ALWAYS use a dice tray when rolling this badboy.

Needs polishing to be attractive. Numbers aren't opposing, they are sequential.For what it is, still a great die, albeit expensive, but for the price, it should be polished.Labelled "countdown die," this die has 1-10 on one hemisphere, and 11-20 on the other hemisphere. Perhaps it's intentional, but the sides are sequentially adjacent, which I see as a poor design choice, and I didn't realize this when I purchased it, but it is visible in the images if you compare all similar products from the same seller.I prefer my dice to have sequentially opposing numbers, rather than sequentially adjacent to assist in consistently fair results. For example, I prefer a d20 to have all opposing sides add up to 21 (20 + 1, 15 + 6, etc). This feature helps counteract potential manufacturing defects which could throw off fair results.In order to get fair results, with this "countdown die" I'd recommend tossing it up with a spin in two different directions before catching it and placing or rolling it on a table. That motion will be sure to mix up the "high" and "low" hemispheres as well as generally randomizing the numbers a bit better.

This hefty thing will completely dwarf your typical D20, and look stunning all the while. Anyone you play against will soon be wanting to get one of their own!

Bought it for a birthday gift for one of my sons. It’s bigger than I expected it to be. It’s almost a handful. His friends with whom he plays D&D thought it was fun and cool. Very happy with purchase.
