Love this tape. We have very old wooden stairs (3) going up to the front door. They get tons of foot traffic from us, dog, mail carrier, etc. The steps are old, untreated and warped. If there is any real moisture (rain, snow, even fog) the steps are slick. I wanted something to make them safer until we can replace the entire porch. I chose a day that was pretty cool (December in NoVA) but hadn't rained for a few days, so the wood was pretty dry. I used a sanding block to smooth down the rough wood and remove some of the greenish gunk from them--this was the hardest part, and a power sander might have been better! I measured the length of tape for each step, cut with a box cutter, removed the backing and applied. Then, I stomped on the tape all over to make sure it was adhered properly. The adhesive seems very strong. Within 6 hours, it rained. Two days later, there was a 1/4" layer of ice on them. Next day, temps back up to 60. More rain. I have only had them on for 2 weeks(?), but this stuff is like magic! No part of it has started peeling up, and it adds LOTS of traction. Cannot believe I waited so long to do this. I like the wide tape. Very helpful product. We will see how it holds up after winter and snow & salt.

I used this on a livestock scale to keep the animals from slipping. It was applied to a slick metal surface and the adhesion was terrific. Some of our rolls had ripples so we believe that is why the installation was a little harder for us, as we had to pull and make sure to get the waves out for solid adhesion. We have washed the surface multiple times and had no issues with it peeling. Great solution to our need!

Easy to apply, and has lasted long on cellar steps. Keeps steps ( painted cement) from being slippery.

I cut out many, many little pieces and taped them to a ps4 controller. I have sweaty hands and anti-perspirant creams just don't do the trick. The material is thin so it added hardly any extra bulk to the controller which was great - I didn't want a new "feel" to accustom to. The adhesive side applied to the controller super easily and hasn't come off at all. Cutting out small, specifically shaped pieces to put on the controller was easily done with rather dull scissors. The tape is super, duper, super-duper duper anti-friction. Even with sweaty hands, the controller doesn't go anywhere. It's stabilized like never before. This product is great.I will add this as a precaution for anyone thinking they want to mimic the use i made of this product - There is a place on the controller I subconsciously, habitually rub with the inner-side of my middle finger by the fingernail. I had some of this grip tape placed in the spot where I rub my finger and after my first couple hours of gaming I was starting to rub my skin raw. I removed the grip tape from this spot alone on the controller and my issues dissolved. Hence, try and notice if there's any part of the controller that you rub with your hands before placing this on for grip.

This is a great product. I purchased it for the top of the fenders on my tandem boat trailer. The fenders are used to climb aboard the boat while on the trailer and two slips had already occurred. This material is tough, the glue is excellent (even with repeated dunking in the lake), and the grit is great for shoes and bare feet as well. In the past I have had difficulty sticking on vinyl lettering and decals, but this is relatively thick and is easy to handle with a little care. It sticks to a smooth painted surface (sanded to roughen) and had no issue with air bubbles. The glue is like contact cement in that you have only one chance to position the tape, although I was able to finesse it loose with a heat gun when I started to position it incorrectly. Also the inside of the cardboard roll makes a good template for marking an arch to round the corners of the tape. Just mark with a pencil and cut with a scissor. Baking in the 100 Degree Plus central California sun does not loosen the glue or cause the tape to bubble up.
