TAN-LUXE THE BUTTER Self Tan Body Butter, (200 ml) Self Tanning Skin Care with Gradual Tan

I’m normally a very occasional self-tanner: I usually feel pale after winter, decide to fake tan, get grossed out by the smell, my skin gets dry and itchy, find it too much effort, and forget about it for 6 months.This fake tan may be the one to change that.I don’t think there can ever be a product with no smell at all, but this one is the closest I’ve come to it, especially if you put it on at night and wash the next morning. Dare I say it ? The smell on application is even really nice with hints of raspberry.As someone else recommended, I find it applies best with latex gloves as bare hands will stain even if you wash them immediately and my mitt was absorbing too much of the product. I used it after exfoliating but didn’t need to add moisturizer to my drier elbows, knees etc.Because the butter is quite thick, it takes a bit more time and product to apply than oils or mousses, and I still find it a bit difficult for the hands (I use a brush), but overall it gives a lovely and streak-free color with no itchiness or dryness to report.I almost removed a star because the “gradual” aspect is a bit debatable : I have light to medium olive skin, one application was enough to be noticeable (“spent a few days in the English sun”), two is personally as much as I would go (“a week in Greece”) as I prefer looking natural than too dark. It has no guide color but a few sparkles so you can can get a sense of where the product has been applied.I’ve used it on my sensitive face too more sparingly, on top of my moisturizer, and it looks lovely with my face matching my neck and body.The downside, if you are someone who likes to be tan all the time this might not be the product for you as it takes a good amount to do the whole face and body so might not last very long, but it could also be good to use as a top up after a darker tan.Overall I’m very pleased with this, the lack of smell for me is the biggest advantage and I’ve already used it 3 times in the couple of weeks I’ve had it, more than I fake tanned in the whole of last year.The photo is after 2 applications on my arm but didn’t quite take on my hand.

Amazing! I have used self tanners for years. This one is fantastic! Butter consistency without being too thick. Goes on easily, no streaks, smells floral/fruity but not a strong fragrance. Does NOT smell like self tanner. That odor is very faint. It also moisturizes all day and gives a beautiful golden color. I have fair skin and the tone is perfect.

I’ve tried a lot of tanning lotions over the years, but this one stands out! It applies smoothly, smells amazing (kind of like coconut and summer dreams), and gives me a natural-looking tan without any orange streaks. I noticed a difference after just one use, and after a week, I had a beautiful bronze glow that looked like I spent a week in the Caribbean.It also doesn't leave that weird sticky feeling some lotions do. Plus, it actually moisturized my skin instead of drying it out. I used it with a tanning mitt to avoid stained hands — highly recommend doing that.Whether you're prepping for a vacation or just want a healthy glow without the UV damage, this is a total win. Will definitely be repurchasing!
