Nature Jim's Sprouts Sunflower Sprouting Seeds – Non-GMO Microgreens, 8 oz

I’m new to growing microgreens but these were each enough. I started two batches at the same time, one in a slotted sprout tray and just misted them a couple times per day, the other in a shallow tray sprinkled on top of soil. The ones in soil grew so much better. They were buttery or nutty in flavor, much different from alfalfa or mung beans. A bit slower compared to the alfalfa or mung bean sprouts, but the extra days were worth the wait.

Sprouted quickly. Looked healthy. Good taste. Used a jar with a screen lid. Tried in a shallow planter for longer sprouts but they just looked spindly. So I’m going back to the jars.

Very easy, Grew broccoli spouts, also salad spouts, and sunflower spouts favorite sandwich is combination of spouts on toasted sourdough dough bread some real butter spread on toast

35 years ago someone introduced me to sunflower sprouts and I loved the sunflower nutty flavor of the sprouts. It has taken me this long to do it myself. But I just LOVE THEM!!! So easy to sprout and super delicious on salads. These sprouts did terrific and sprouted within the recommended time on the package. Directions were easy to follow. All I had to do was sprout, eat, and enjoy! Win, win!

I'm only giving this 4 stars because I used these to make some sprouts and they failed miserably. I gave the 4 stars because I think the issue was a "user error". I'm going to give it another go...

I had bought this brand a couple years ago when the packaging was all dark green and they were excellent sprouts that DID sprout to edible in 6 days. When I ran out of those I bought a cheaper brand that had only a low percentage sprout at all. So even though they cost twice as much I decided to buy nature Jim's again. And I think the batch I got is a dud. 5 days in and only about half of them have the little tail of a root. Very disappointed, and not worth my time. Also these seeds are particularly small and narrow, as were the ones from. the cheaper brand that sprouted poorly. The ones from 2 years ago were fatter and EVERY SINGLE ONE would sprout. Yes I soaked them for 24 hrs, My home is 75 deg., My mung bean sprouts are doing fantastic. The problem is these seeds

I sprout lots of seeds, so I’m not new to the process. Very disappointed with the sunflower seeds. They took 5 days to sprout and grow very slowly. There was no indication on the package or the website that this would happen
