This builder base gel works well if you’re looking to add a bit of strength to natural nails. It applies smoothly and cures well under a UV/LED lamp. The consistency is good – not too runny but still easy to work with. It seems to help nails feel stronger and gives a nice base for gel polish. The bottle size is fairly small, but a little goes a long way so it should last a while with normal use. Overall a good product if you want a strengthening base coat for gel manicures.

Gorgeous nail polish with a great, thick consistency. Compared to other BIAB and gel polishes I’ve tried, this one lasts noticeably longer. The neutral shade with the subtle glitter gives a very clean, polished, and mature look. It’s versatile enough to wear all the time and works with everything. This has definitely become my go-to colour — I’m obsessed!

Love the colour and applies easily - only thing to note is that it can peel (although I am a nail picker!) Good bottle size - just make sure to go over the final coat with some nail polish remover to remove any stickiness

Peachy is the prettiest builder gel I’ve found! Really nice to work with and when I prep my nails well, I don’t get any lifting or peeling. Very happy! Please keep the peachy shade forever, I’m hooked!

Since discovering Essence peel off gel in Wilko I had been doing my nails at home with UV gel and a lamp. A peel off gel, whilst the nail colour does not last quite as long, it is easy to remove so you can easily change colours. However this was discontinued though I did find a stockist when in Majorca! Once that ran out I was back to the age old problem of removal which was wrecking my nails so I went back to expensive salon treatments as the experts with the right tools could remove the old varnish with less damage and they used a powder layer to strengthen my nails. After Lockdown and removal my nails were paper thin so I tried dipping powders. Much easier to remove but quite a faff to apply perfectly. The initial kit was quite expensive and though the system was great there is 6 different bottles to use plus the color dipping powder. I needed an electronic file to smooth the dipping powder as my application wasn't that even initially. I didn't really like any of the resulting colors and they were not very shiny but the system did make my nails feel really strong. That is until removal which took ages even with an electronic USB nail drill. I left my nails bare for 6 weeks using lots of strengtheners and oils but as soon as they grew a decent length they flaked. Then I read about Builder Gel on a local salons blog. I looked and was amazed Amazon sold it so after reading about the process in the blurb below I immediately ordered some and some paper nail forms. Using the nail forms to extend your nails is tricky but there are videos on Youtube. I used alone on nails that had reached a good length and it was so easy. Took me a while to get the hang of extending a nail but really pleased and amazed at the outcome. The trick is too make sure your nail form is lined up correctly under you own nail tip and that it looks flat from the side. Don't extend the gel too much or it will take ages to file into place and you don't want to clip any extra off as you may make it split or crack. A good tip when you have painted the gel on is to turn your nail upside down so the gel levels. This is explained on Youtube. You need to prep your nails properly with prep and wipe and then primer, apply the gel, cure, then colour layers, cure, top gel layer, cure, prep and wipe solution to remove residue. On one nail while the gel was wet I applied gem stones all over and then another layer of gel before the final cure. It is easy to add decorative effects which stick to the gel. I've read that you can use with ordinary nail varnish as log as you use a non acetone remover which would melt the extensions so I will probable try that next so I can change colors more often.

Easy to create beatiful nails, looks like a professional manicure, easy to remove (much easier than with regular gel varnish), and covers ridges and unevenness very well. However, the bottle dries out very quickly (after just 3 uses its now become too dry to give even coverage) and chips quickly after just 4-5 days.

Very thick consistency. Almost dry? Found it more difficult to work with this one (white). Then, two days later, it peeled straight off. I noticed a pinky had no gel on it and then other looked like they had water under them and so I tried to see if they peeled too and they ALL peeled off cleanly! Not impressed.

Ottimo, polimerizza velocemente e si stende bene in quanto autolivellante (bisogna solo prendere un po’ la mano sulla quantità da applicare). Ha una buona tenuta ed è resistente, la manicure dura almeno due settimane.

I absolutely love the color and application was easy. Consistency a bit thicker but just right. I'll update the review later in terms of durability and lifting. UPDATE The day after application I got some lifting on my middle finger near the cuticle. Gave the product the benefit of the doubt and redid the nail. Turns out it was due to faulty prep because after that I never got any lifting on any of my nails. Product is great! Unfortunately the price was doubled last week. Paid €8,50 last week, now it's €15.

Les photos que je poste sont des photos à 3 semaines d’intervalle avec la même pose ! (À part pour l’index que je n’avais pas bien fait la première fois) 1 semaine de travail à faire la plonge d’un hôtel, 1 semaine de soirées quotidiennes et 1 semaine de randonnées et de surf au camping et aucun décollement. Les commentaires qui disent que le builder gel ne tient pas sont des commentaires de gens qui n’ont pas bien préparé leurs ongles et n’ont utilisé que ce produit en lui même ! :) Limez un peu la surface de l’ongle et utilisez de l’acétone ou un dehydrator, et utiliser le builder gel avec le base coat et le top coat de la même marque (9€ le pack). Pour ce qui est de la brillance, on peut acheter les wipes de la même marque mais personnellement j’utilise juste des cotons imbibés d’acétone et l’effet est le même. Attention à ceux qui ont les ongles sensible le produit chauffe un peu sous lampe UV ou LED, mais enlever l’ongle quand il chauffe et le remettre après convient très bien. Totalement satisfaite de l’achat :)

Leider sind meine Naturnägel mit dem alter nicht mehr so stabil wie früher. Mittlerweile sind sie brüchiger und reißen schon mal ein. Daher bin ich auf diesen Lack gestoßen. Ich trage immer 2 Schichten nacheinander auf und so sind meine Nägel wieder wunderschön lang und widerstandsfähig geworden. Natürlich muss man sich an die genaue Verarbeitung incl. Cleaner zwischen den Schritten halten. Aber dann klappt es wirklich super!! Bestelle ich immer wieder gerne.
