Nalgene 16 oz Wide Mouth Water Bottle, Cerulean

Perfect size for travel! Easy to hold, wide enough for ice, simple to clean, and I can’t lose the lid. Exactly what I was looking for.

Nalgene remains the most reliable water bottle in the market. Tried and tested (I have a good 20 of them), these bottles are durable, can be used for multiple purposes-- I use them as water bottles but also use them to store rice and pulses in the kitchen, as well as to store juice to keep in the fridge and hot herbal teas to carry on the go. I have also used some to store beads, screws, crayons, and virtually anything that needs organizing. In terms of liquid, they hold hot and cold effectively and they are leak proof. The wide mouth is excellent to drink and makes cleaning them a breeze. I also like that they clean well and do not hold any smells. Notably, these bottles are clumsy-hands friendly. The smaller size of this one is great to carry out and about in my hand but it also takes minimal space in my handbag and backpack. The colour is lovely! The combo of the deep red and yellow/mustardy lid is very quirky. I would totally recommend!

Nalgene is my go-to reusable water bottle! I like all of their sizes, but this is the best for just having around. Small enough to fit in a car cup holder but big enough to get you through the day. Easy to wash, just throw on the top rack in the dishwasher, or easily hand wash because it has a wide mouth. The color on this one is crystal-clear.

I haven’t stopped using it since it arrived. I like the smaller size and don’t mind having to refill it multiple times during the day. I don’t see the need to carry around 24 or 38 ounces of water when 14 ounces will do. I also like the big opening which is easier for cleaning.

I have had a 32 ounce Nalgene bottle for over 15 years. It is still great, but I found out I prefer a smaller bottle to slip in my bag for day to day use and at the gym. This is a perfect size for that! It fits nicely in my bag and I rather refill it with fresh water than let it sit in the bottle over the day.

After 5 days of use, here are some of my observations about the 16oz Nalgene water bottle: Some pros: 1) I like the simplicity of design. It would be easy to clean. 2) The color is cool and pleasant to the eyes! 3) It looks cute and is easy to carry. 4) It seems durable. Some drawbacks: 1) It’s not very convenient to screw the cap single-handedly. 2) Due to the small size, the weight ratio of bottle cap to bottle body is high, so when the bottle is empty, it might not stand still. 3) Since its mouth is so wide, I find this bottle not the best for hikes as it can easily spill. So carefully consider if you are looking for a bottle with daily capacity to be used in an outdoor setting, but otherwise, it’ll be a worthwhile purchase!

Nalgene bottles are the best water bottles on the market! These ones are nice cause they are a little smaller and perfect for our kids. They may not always hold the cold in the bottle as long as an insulated version but they are more durable, and a better warranty, than any other bottle! I have had some of my Nalgene bottles for 20 years!!

This water bottle is SMALL, which at first I was a little unsure of but it turned out perfect for me (my hand is small too, but still covers this bottle impressively lol). I didn't want to carry around large bottles and I work in a hospital so I have plenty of access to filtered water everywhere. I don't drink a lot of water but I think for my size and activity level I drink enough and it varies day to day. I was always getting paper cups each day I worked and figured I should do better for the environment. But also, I wanted something wide-lipped to allow for ice to fall in and extremely simple for washing purposes; same reason I didn't want a straw bottle or any with a contraption or suction. This was wide rimmed and simple screw-on, so easy to wash and wonderfully sized to carry easily even in a large pocket, and I can refill whenever I want. FYI if it wasn't already clear this is NOT an insulating bottle. Ice melts in it easily and it doesn't impressively maintain water coldness but that wasn't important to me. This was exactly what I wanted 🥹 and if people want a slightly larger size, the 32 oz version was pretty nice too, I just returned it because it was slightly too large for what I wanted it for. If they had made a 20 or 24 oz wide-rimmed simple bottle I woulda gotten that instead :)

Love these, have bought two each so they can be on rotation with the wash.

Good strong water bottles! I have a few, use them for laundry powder when on longer trips, fill them with hot water when camping to warm up on cold nights - very handy!

Dies ist bereits meine dritte Nalgene-Flasche und ich kann sagen dass ich mit allen durchweg zufrieden war/bin. Sie halten dicht, vertragen sogar heiße Flüssigkeit und sind sehr robust. Zudem sind die Flaschen durch den großen Deckel einfach zu reinigen und haben ein schönes Design. Weiter so Nalgene!!
