Very Strong
Have always used Barge. Sooo glad they have made a clear one. Its a work horse.Allow whatev u put it on to become tacky b4 adherence. Yes it has a smell, its a glue.It doesnt bother me but work outside if u are super sensitive, then there should be no problem.Water resistance is good. Allow 24 hrs of a hold on it i use clamps and heavy items on top to get that good hold. Worth the money. I dont find it expensive.

The best contact cement I've found.
I've been looking for a good strong contact cement for a long time. They all seem to fall a little bit short for one reason or another. So far this stuff has been fantastic. I glued onep of my wife's shoes back together and it has been holding up very well. I've used it for a bunch of other projects since and have had no complaints at all.

Strong, highly flexible glue, perfect for shoe repair but could be used for many other applications.
I used this to re-glue some dried out Nikes I deconstructed. This is one of the main adhesives sneaker heads use to repair or customize shoes. My only issue is that the product dries out, which could be construed as MY fault, but Iโm pretty particular and always took care in closing the can and putting the cap/lid back on top even while using to minimize evaporation of the solvent. Basically I think the metal, large thread screw cap is probably about the least tight means to seal this type of material and I really think this cap contributes to the products shelf life. The glue itself is easy to work with and is strong. All of the shoes Iโve repaired have stayed together and seem as if they will continue to. Follow the directions and maybe use a finer paint brush for smaller, more intricate areas and keep the opening covered to minimize evaporation.

Cured in the can
If you buy this glue, be ready to open and use it right away. If the seal on the can is slightly cracked , it will cause the glue to begin the curing process and wont work as intended. It has to be fresh glue. It should run like syrup or even thinner. If it is more jelly like when you open it then it has begun to cure and you cant apply it properly. It needs to be applied to both surfaces that you are trying to fix, let that sit for 5 minutes and then camp it tight . You should be able to apply it easily with the brush in the can . My can was 5 months old when I received it and was already in a curing state of jelly. I returned it for credit.
