Q: I don't understand the rinsing and spinning (ringing out the rinse water) part of using the washing wand.

Hi there. I'm not sure I understand your question fully but please let me explain how we (i.e. My wife) uses it. She fills up a bucket(a10gallon trash can) adds superwash soda etc and agitates for about 7-10 minutes with the washing wand then leaves it overnight. This is done in the tub/shower. In the morning I empty the can of liquid and add fresh water. Then she'll come out and agitate for about 5 minutes with The Washing Wand for the "rinse cycle". The washing wand is essentially just the agitator part of a traditional washing machine. It does both the washing and rinsing. It just depends on if your water is full of detergent or full of rinse water. Hope this helps!

This is used for agitation. Picture the center agitators on a standard, non-front loading washing machine, going back and forth. Put hot water and soap in a tub along with clothes, and pump this up and down. Watch historical laundress videos on yt to see how wooden versions of this works.

Q: I have only used it 3 times. less than a month old and the handle broke. How do I get a refund?

Mine did the same thing. Under your Account, click on orders then scroll through your order history to find where you ordered it. It will tell you if you are still within the time frame to return it for a refund. If you are, there will be a "Return" button to click.

Q: Will this work in a laundry tub that is on legs? The top of the tub is 34" high (off floor). Or is it easier with a tub that sits lower or on floor?

The handle is composed of three screw-together pieces. So you can remove one or two to adjust the handle length for a an elevated tub.
