Will the 8ft rod fit a Penn senator 9/0 and a Penn squall 50vsw?

The rod should be MH to H and equal to the pound of line you want to use. These are well made stout rods with the aluminum reel seat with double knurled locking rings and handle with the notched end for a fighting belt or chair. I have the MH 5' bait caster boat trolling rod with a 30-50 pound line rating. If you are using 80lb line on the Squall, I think you will be fine. You might want to consider using the rod with the roller guides depending on your preference. Again, the rod pound rating should match the pound rating of the line you will use. The reels will fit.

Perfect low budget no fuss trolling rod

I keep it in rod holder around the clock as we live on out boat in saltwater environment. No rollers or anything to get messed up due to poor treatment by owner. I expensive enough to not be too worried about it.

Perfect for paddlefish snagging!

Most of the reviews are from guys who ocean fish. But this rod works perfectly for snagging. I searched high and low for a rod to fit this need and i believe i nailed it with this rod! Very stout and it can handle more than my reel can. Paired this rod with a okuma line counter reel and its the perfect setup
