CDL Micro Gold T.V Aerial Cable (M-M) With Adapter (F-F) 3 Metres BLACK

Needed a longer aerial cable after re-positioning my TV, assumed something cheap would do the job. Unfortunately, when using this cable, with the adapter at the wall socket, my TV is unable to detect a lot of the channels it could detect with my old (shorter) cable.Running my TV's built in signal strength test showed that with this cable, nothing is detected in the 754000kHz range, whereas with the old cable good signal strength is detected at this range. Both tests were done immediately after one another. With the new cable, the TV found 66 channels, compared to 141 with the old cable.I'm guessing this cable is of a lower quality and doesn't quite pass as much bandwidth as my old cable which is a surprise. Will have to go for a higher quality cable instead.

As mentioned in the 2 way splitter review, these cables were used to connect a Freeview HD Recorder and a PS3 to a single aeriel point. The cables replaced an old brown coax cable with poor sheathing and a bad connector on one end. Whilst I can (and have) recrimped and connected the old cable, these new cables have premoulded connectors that won't come off. My connection needs to be permanent as access once setup will be awkward. The signal was already pretty good as I have installed a new aerial. These cables just finished it off nicely. Good price, great delivery. CDL Micro are highly recommended. 5*

Cheap as in a bad way. The all-important connector isn't particularly snug fit which seems to be affecting picture quality. !! Edit !! added an extra star back as it turns out i had to factory reset my new TV and there are some changes going on with FreeView broadcast in my area requiring me to re-tune. HD Signal is now OK but I stand by the comments re: fit. Loose connector. Should fit more snugly as this is a standard cable.

Hello dear seller, sorry to say that but these cable and connector's is completely zero value. it's even not connecting with the cable from broadband suppliers, forget about detection. Forget about channels. Forget about DTV or Freeview channels. It's wastage of money. As a customer I am really Unhappy for the same. (As a prime member) It's not Matter about money. You or me not going to be millionaire in that much money, but it's matter about promise and demand and need of supply and quality of the product. That's it. But it's not there. Anyway good luck for the future. If you can send me original white cable with silver ports. Then it could be works. Will wait for your reply. Thank you

Brilliant ! I was apprehensive of buying this due to the price , however this is perfect , has saved me a lot of money paying someone to extend my aerial , picture quality is the same as it was before I added this extension (very good) . absolutely can not fault this extension . thankyou !
