No strong hold
There is no strong hold or much of a scent. The product feels more like a balm

A hard wax, slight pleasant fragrance
Preface; I am new to mustache training. I have always in the past just combed my mustache down and trimmed it even with upper lip. I recently decided to let it grow and create a nicer looking mustache.Current; so after letting my mustache grow out I realized I needed to “train” it. I knew I would need some appropriate wax for this task. But which one. So after looking at quite a few I decided on this one. It is said to be good for “training” the mustache. And it had been mentioned that you get a mustache brush to help apply the wax. Results; this wax came in two tiny tins, one citrus and one sandalwood. Both scents are very slight but pleasant. As for that brush, yeah, no brush, but they were nice enough to include a free guitar pick. Why on earth a guitar pick and not something useful like a mustache brush. Also, the wax is rock hard in the tin. You have to really work at trying to get any on your fingers to rub into the mustache hairs. That being said, after a while of persistence you can get enough into the hairs to start holding them. But it does hold the hairs, once you get enough rubbed into them.Summary; like I said, this is a new task for me, growing out my mustache and trying to train it and get control of it. I plan to look for a different wax that is easier to use, not rock hard and nearly impossible to get up from it’s tin, or container. This wax does seem to hold the hairs. The scents are pleasant and not overwhelming. A guitar pick?
