Fruit of the Loom Women's Micro Waffle Premium Thermal Set

I brought the largest size I am 5’4 270lbs it was still a little too big. I will buy another size down for a tighter fit. Definitely worth the price. It’s thin enough to wear but be comfortable. It’s really soft feels warm it appearance to be the long John version I been looking for old school just delicate and light weight I bought it in white I will definitely be getting black and another white just smaller.

This thermal set fits true-to-size. The material is thin, but warm and very confortable. I love the merlot heather color. I also bought the animal print in the same order, SAME SIZE. However, the animal print fit MUCH more snuggly than the merlot and the length of the pants is SHORTER. I cannot return them, because I always wash new clothing before wearing them. Have no idea why there would be such a difference, but there definitely is. SIZE VARIATION within the SAME company drives me crazy and is unacceptable. They must do better with quality control.

I'm 5' 1" 117 lbs and ordered a medium in this set. I'm glad I did. I had considered buying a small. The medium fit is snug. I would suggest washing these on cold, gentle and drying on low heat or air dry and then hanging to dry if damp. Because they have cotton in the blend they probably will shrink and mine would be too tight if that happened. I have so far only been wearing the top and it seems comfortable under clothing, but not overly warm.

I was very skeptical and when I tried it on, it fits ..comfortably. I'm 5ft and 36ddd and curvy. It's nit restricted and tight, but just enough loose to where it's cute and to where you can sit on couch and be warm cozy. Not too hot either. The length is scrunched. I don't mind that and the waist is midrise and not too tight at all, which I'm super pleased with that. Overall I would get it. I'm basically and medium and small at times, but thr large is what I got. I wouldn't size down. It's a perfect fit and flattering.

I wanted some thermals to wear around the house while I'm lounging because they feel cozy. I don't need them for layering and I don't wear full shirt and pants to sleep so it wasn't for that either. I normally wear a small (sometimes XS depending on brand) so I ordered these in a Small as well. The fit was.. strange. The pants mostly fit. The waistband is really skinny but the pants go mid to high mid depending on your height since the crotch area kind of drops. The weird thing was that the crotch felt kind of reinforced, like the stitching or material was different. The calf and ankle area were tight. I'm short so they did have some bunching at the bottom but since I'm not layering or leaving the house I didn't mind. The worst part was the shirt. I felt like I was going to hulk out of it. I barely could slide my arms in, they especially got stuck on my forearms and I don’t even have large forearms. The sleeve got twisted when I put it on and they were so tight I couldn't adjust them lol. The torso and neck area were fine but the sleeves were trash. I exchanged the set for a Medium so I'm waiting on that - hopefully it fits like normal sized clothing otherwise I'm returning it. Then 2 stars instead of 3 for the inconsistent sizes. In sum, if you need a lounge outfit this is fine. Possibly even ok for undergarments in sub 50° weather if you get really cold. Negative temps, probably not as helpful since it is relatively thin material, kinda like a wife beater tank top. Size is awkward as many reviews also say too large or too small. At this price seems worth the risk.

Fruit of the loom is a name I grew up with and I’m 73 now. We’ve been getting some serious cold snaps and coming from Florida the past 25 years of living has made me wimpy. When I was looking for longjohns as they used to be called, this was who I was happy to say. The only thing I have to say is it runs extremely small. Normally, I wear extra large or extra extra, but I looked at their chart and ordered 3X. I could’ve had a 2X maybe I think I would’ve bought a four if I thought it was longer. I’m not happy with the sizing that they seem to be putting out now. Other than that fruit of the loom is still awesome. The weave and material is great and it still has the quality it’s only the sizing I don’t like. A material is soft hopefully it washes well. Comfortable I have it on right now. It just came earlier today lol I bought purple. It’s a very deep blue purple very pretty not that anyone will see it. Right now I don’t need a layer, but it’s thin enough to go under a sweater or even another type of top without bulk and I believe it will be really comfortable so you can layer it. I’m looking forward to feeling cozy warm now and probably will buy more. We had several months of 110° so I wasn’t expecting this weather.

I saw the reviews saying these run small but come on! I bought these two sizes larger than I normally wear because I wanted to wear them as baggy pajamas for the holiday. I am super short, only 5 feet tall, but the waist on these only comes up to my hipbones. How is that possible when I ordered up 2 sizes and I'm no taller than one of Santa's elves?! I literally cannot pull these up to my waist. I have plumber's crack before I even bend over. There's plenty of material to go around but the pants are cut so short from the crotch to the waist, they don't reach the waist at all! At the same time, there's zero elasticity in the material and none in the waistband so they're super loose on my hips and fall off of me! I would need suspenders to keep them up! I am entirely baffled by how these are made. They're cut like hip-huggers from the 60s but not in a good way. I mean seriously, I know no one with a body type these pants would fit! The top is long enough but skintight and since there's no stretch, no give, no softness to the material, the top isn't comfortable to wear. The material is thin yet stiff with no stretch to it. These are not at all the soft cottony waffle material you expect long underwear to be made of. Terrible fit! Terrible feel! With all the years I've shopped on Amazon I think this might be the second bad review I've ever written. This set of long underwear is one of the worst purchases I've ever made.

Perfect for winter the pants are loose so don’t really stay up very well and the shirt is short so not the best for taller folks

I'm extremely happy with these. They are really soft and warm. I got the Smoke Heather in LARGE. Really nice grey color. Although I'm only 5'7" and 128 lbs, I purchased the large because I don't like tight clothing. The pants fit perfectly & the top is only slightly loose. But I wore under my clothes outside tonight and they fit well as a base layer. I'd probably buy again as pajamas because they are so comfy. And what a great price when I see how much base layers are in the stores.

These are warm enough but the sizing is all wrong so go up a size if in doubt.

I bought these for camping and they kept me warm through the night. They are comfy and look great too
