Is this impacted by the Infineon library vulnerability?

Yes it is. I just purchased one and found this out. I see no update on Gigabyte and Infineon says the firmware is OEM distribution: https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/promopages/tpm-update/?redirId=59160 I have opened a ticket with Gigabyte and will update here if I ever hear back. In the meantime stay away from this chip.

Will this work with gigabyte x299 aorus gaming 7 pro board? and do i need to purchase one separately or is it included on the board?

Is the firmware up-to-date on this module?

I bought mine in Nov 2022 from Streetwise Emporium through Amazon. It registers correctly and does not show any firmware issues.

What is the pinout on this item? I have generally seen 14 and 20 pin. Looks like a 20 to me but would like confirmation. Thanks.

Gigabyte makes six different TMP modules, you need to check on their website which one works for your model of Gigabyte motherboard. TMP2.0 has 19 pins in a 20-pin configuration.
