Very high quality port
I'm honestly really (pleasantly) surprised how good the port turned out. The resolution dips on handheld at times (particularly on grind sections and in some cutscenes) but the framerate is consistent, I haven't had any lag or dropped inputs; overall it simply works. It is also a little quiet on handheld - I had to turn the volume nearly all the way up to hear everything. But honestly for a (most certainly rushed, I mean c'mon it's Activision after all) port I expected much worse. It's nothing like the NST/SRT ports, and if they had ONLY released this game on switch you'd probably not be able to tell anything was "wrong". That's not even touching on how brilliant and gorgeous this game is in general! The art style is fantastic - honestly no surprise from the devs who made Spyro Reignited - and the platforming is some of the best in the franchise. Some of the collect-a-thon aspects get a little repetitive (N-verted mode especially), but you don't have to 106% the game to enjoy it. I would easily consider it the best game in the franchise. Overall, if you have a switch, and you like Crash Bandicoot, it's a no-brainer: get this game!

Great game, endless lives!!!
We got crash 3 and were so frustrated by always dying and having to restart. What is nice about 4 is that you get a gem if you beat it in 3 lives or less. I on average take about 25 lives per level so this game is perfect that I don't need to worry about dying. Also if you die enough they make a box a checkpoint halfway to the next checkpoint. So much more kid friendly and I highly recommend it!! I can waste 2 hours easy on this game and not even realize.
