Can it be used for cockatiel?

Yes you can, I used 1/2 the dose in the water. My cockatiel lasted 30 years!

I just received mine , but it says big birds ! I have a conure , medium size bird

I use that for my sun conure. 2 drops in the bigger water bowl and 1 drop in the smaller water bowl

What"s the ingredients?

The ingredients are vitamins, minerals, etc. These are given in detail — on the attached label.

Since the top of the bottle does not have the ability to dispense drops, what amount constitutes a drop? water to vitamin ratio would be appreciated.

This is only one of the problems that I believe may be in the manufacturing, as far as I know. I have been using the Vita Drops for many months now since the company I used discontinued their vitamin for large birds. The lid has not been the right one for distributing drops on the last two bottles I ordered. luckily, I still had a bottle with the lid that had a round hole to dispense drops. The first bottle I received contained a very thick liquid with heavy fish odor. That has not happened since, and is a thinner liquid with less of a fishy smell. However I have received at least 2 bottles where the liquid leaked inside of the blister pack. Not much, but it should not happen. I saw a while back that there is another maker of this type of vitamin water supplement. I wanted to give Vita Drops a chance since it takes a while to see how it affects the bird, but I may look for the other maker and compare the vitamins in them.

This item does not have a smell to it. But my birds enjoying drinking the water because it keeps them from getting sick.

We have been using these drops for over a year now and our cockatiel is healthy and has better looking tail feathers. He has a small deformity and didn’t have an easy time replacing feathers there before. We are very happy with this product and recommend it.
