Sustee Aquameter, Set of 5, Plant Soil Moisture Sensor (Green, Medium)

Mt plants have gone from “iffy health” to vibrant health in a few months since we started using these. I learned a big problem with my plants’ health is watering them all at the same time. Some were needing watering sooner and some weren’t needing water yet. These sticks tell me just which plant to water and which to wait on watering. They’re not inexpensive, but neither are my plants. I bought one pack, saw how helpful they are, and bought three more packs so all of my plants have one in them. Unless you have a natural green thumb, these simulate one :)

Love these. So compact and neat looking and made me realize I have always overwatered my houseplants! My plants have never been healthier now that I'm watering them correctly. This meter works great!

These are great! I am so happy to have found them on Amazon. I ordered not having high expectations and these consistently remind me when to water (helpful in the winter months). I will say it’s not perfect bc they measure the area they are placed into so you need to make sure you water the soil evenly to get a fair reading.

These are helpful but can not be 100% trusted. As long as you use them as a guide they are great. Don’t let them replace human judgment! Feel the soil and make sure it’s actually not wet before watering again. Or, just because it’s blue you should still feel your soil. I’ve noticed that how well they work somewhat depends on the type of soil and what plant it is. Some are more accurate than others. Once you get a feel for your particular plant and soil, you can start to trust them more. Think of them as a helper…

If my plants stay alive, it will because of these indicators. I literally check my plants daily and when it turns white, I water them. It’s been a month and all my plants are still alive and thriving. I feel like I know what to do now.

When I first started using this product I was impressed. It gives a "shade of blue" color on the indicator paper that wraps around the moisture wicking fibers, and the shade gives a dark blue when wet, and pale blue when its about time to water. What I noticed, however, in many cases my indicator turns white (indicating very DRY) in soil with moisture content that is excessively wet (WITH A BRAND NEW WICK). I believe the issue is that very wet soil self-compacts, and when the probe is inserted it forms a void between the fibers, and a path along the inserted probe for any moisture in the fibers to escape. I don't pretend to be an expert, but I did purchase an extremely expensive lab grade moisture meter which confirmed that the soil moisture content was above 50%, and my finger test also showed the same. Of course, if you trust the probe and water soil that contains excessive moisture you may just kill your plant or at the very least make it sick. For this reason I deem this a very poor product.

Like others have mentioned it’s not as fool proof as you would expect for the cost. I have over 50 tropical plants and a few that I just can’t seem to regulate watering. I always use a moisture meter but hoped this would save me constantly probing risking hitting developing roots. Worked well the first water (as shown) but several show blue but the soil is dry. Another shows white but the soil is still moist and I have not had them anywhere near the 6-9 month mark. I guess it’s $30 wasted but I’ve spent more on sillier things for my plants that didn’t work well. Enter at your own risk

I've used for two waterings so far and the meter works well and delivers a peace of mind. Accuracy feels spot on for now and the design compliments my snake plant rather than blend in. Love this product so far.

Perfetto e facilissimi da usare. Un po’ costosi ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Non devo più preoccuparmi di capire se le mie piante vanno annaffiate o meno. Ne ho qualcuno comprato a gennaio che ancora funziona (è agosto ora), quindi durano anche tanto.
