Well made bit that works perfectly - unlike Yonico
Bought to replace a Yonico 14134 Flush Trim Router Bit which was junk. Obtained to flush trim 1.5" deep large mortises in a 2x12 with Bosch 1617. I have used routers for years, and know not to bottom out the bit when installing and to properly clamp it in. Yoniko bit vibrated violently the minute I turned router on. Tried to trim anyway - bit started working it's way up and out of the router. Collet ruined, burnished beyond use. Measured shaft. Yoniko is both eccentric, tapered, and undersized. .490 to .455. Bought new collect and this CMT bit replacements. Worked perfectly. Also, CMT has a shear cut, while Yonico is straight. Stripped off the Yoniko bearings - bit is now in the trash... You always pay for what you get, and not always get what you pay for. CMT shaft is consistently .502. Tightened and stayed tight. Cut perfectly. Live and learn. Buy cheap, get cheap.
