UniBond 2643637 Ultraforce Wall Tile Adhesive and Grout, Grey

Not cheap but it does the job

A few tiles had come loose in the bathroom and this did the job well to reattach them. I used some masking tape to help hold the tiles in position whilst the adhesive dried but I was pleased with the grab strength and it would probably have been fine without it. The tube is only sufficient for a small area: the coverage is listed on the back as 0.15 square metres. This would work out quite expensive if you had a lot of tiling to do, but it's a good pack size for small jobs.

I used this for fixing a few loose tiles in the bathroom and it worked really well. The tube makes it easy to apply without messing about with mixing, and the flow is smooth so you can get it right where you need it. It holds the tiles firmly in place and dries to a nice clean white that blends in with the rest of the grout. Being waterproof is a big plus, especially in areas that get a lot of moisture. It saved me from having to buy a big bag of grout for such a small job. Overall, it’s a handy and effective solution for quick repairs or small tiling work.

I am rubbish at grouting, so I was hoping that coming in a tube would make it a bit easier for me, but sadly, it didn't. I wonder if I'm missing something that makes it easier and smoother to do, but always seems to not stick where I want it to and to stick where I don't. I found it easy enough to wipe off my mistakes, and it seems to have held the little tiles in place. I wanted it for my downstairs loo, where I've applied mosaic tiles on a sheet around and under the little sink. I'm not sure if they needed grouting as it didn't say on the box, but it looks neater with the grout. I only did a bit to start with in case I made too much of a mess. I think I've done a good enough job to carry on and finish it off, but I wish it didn't take me so long and that it could be easier.

Having had positive experiences with UniBond products before, I had high expectations for their Ultra Force Wall Tile Adhesive and Grout. Unfortunately, this product fell short in several areas. The price point is quite steep for what you get. The tube contains less quantity than other brands I've used, which meant I had to buy more than anticipated to finish my tiling project. This was disappointing, considering the premium price. Application is straightforward, which is a plus, but the product itself is extremely white and powdery. While some might find this appealing, I found it less than ideal for my needs. The most significant issue was the drying time and final texture. Even after 24 hours, the grout didn't harden as expected. It remained somewhat soft, unlike other grouts that dry to a rock-hard finish. This raises concerns about the longevity and durability of the adhesive and grout. Although it technically does the job, I wouldn't purchase this product again. There are more affordable options available on Amazon that perform better. This UniBond adhesive and grout did not meet my expectations, and I prefer cheaper brands that offer better value and performance.

Did the job of regrouting a few tiles after the position of a new shower was moved.

Great for small area of bathroom floor that needed refreshing. Simple to use and easy to clean.
