This little guy made easy work of a solo motor swap subaru Ej25. Seems like it would handle a v8 engine as well. Don't know about a diesel

Good product, perfect as I was lifting a TR6 engine with gearbox and overdrive unit, the device allowed me to adjust the angle of lift to clear the body of car.Delivery was as promised.

Worked very well for my intended use's. For the price, absolutely nothing to complain about.

I bought this item to use with a rented engine hoist for a transmission install. Best 30 something dollars I've ever spent!!! This thing saved me tons of time and frustration. It was as easy as a turn of a handle to get a CVT lined up perfectly with the engine. God tier tool. Build quality is decent and for a do it yourselfer like me its more then adequate. I cant compare it to another one because this is the only engine leveler I've ever used, but it worked better then I could have even hoped for. I have used Torin jacks and jack stands before, but this is the first item from their "big red" line I've purchased. As long as its kept dry and lubricated there's really nothing that can fail. I'm not sure what else to say except if you're doing an engine or transmission that needs to be lined up for installation, this equipment is a must have.
