I don't recommend.
The leaves are too big and they taint the water even after soaked for days. I don't recommend.

A little goes a long way! Lol. Perfect if needing small but powerful leaves!
Worked perfectly while breeding my bettas! Love that they were actually small ones to fit where I wanted them to! And didnt arrive all smashed up. They are great if you need smaller leaves! And even tho they are small you don't need a bunch cuz they work as they are supposed to and will change the water with only a couple! So don't over do it just cuz they are small lol. Mine have lasted me quite a few months now and I have yet to need to buy more. Thats breeding and female recovery I've used them for and they've worked and lasted perfectly!

Use as a leaf litter in my vivarium. Look great and my isopods love to hide under them.

Soak In hot water for a few days to sink and help release the tannins!
I read a bunch of reviews a decided to go with this one anyways, and I’m so glad I did because the package says to boil and rinse before using so I decided to soak them in super hot water changing it a couple times a day and at first the water was a nasty yellow but then on the third day it became that nice color you look for in a black water tank ( the picture is from two hours after a water change in the bowl). I took half the leaves out and put them in the tank and left the rest in the bowl so I could do one gallon water changes and keep the water nice and dark! 10/10 I will definitely be getting more from here soon as I need more!
