3MPainter's Disc Pad with Hookit 05778, 6 in, Soft Density Foam

Used in auto paint prep. I get about 7 years of use out of these before the edges delaminate a bit. A prepper might get 3-5 years out of it. Just the right amount of "squish" for curves but firm enough achieve a straight repair. Holds onto an interface pad alright and sandpaper well.

The product was right on! Exactly what I needed. However, Amazon refused to honor the qty of 10 when selecting that option. Both items are the same. If you look in the product information for both the weight goes from 4 oz for 1 and to 3.23 lbs. for 10. The item number on 1 is 05778 and the 10 is 05778-10PK. We all know that means pack! They tried to tell me they were different items. They should have honored the purchase and changed the listing! Do better Amazon!

I work as an automotive refinisher and I have to say I wish I would have gotten this year's ago. I sand body filler, primer, and even clear coat with this pad and it contours and is flexible enough to hold flat and not leave waves, yet it is hard enough for me to shape body filler I love it

The 3m purple pads are the best hookit pads I've used.
