Bad Batch or Old?
Seem a bit 'stiff' but got half way through the tube with my weaklings grip strength before it seized up. Took off the nozzle and sure enough a big gob of solidified sealant was blocking it. Removed that and got one more squeeze before same happened again. Pocked around with a screwdriver and could feel that most of the rest was solid. Batch number was a bit worn - if the last four digits are the year of manufacture than there's the problem right there! Might be coincidence? Saving grace is that Amazon refunded without needing a return.

Having not used it before when I read about it although it didn't say anything about this I only found out from a friend after buying it That I also needed a sealant glue gun to use it, so it didn't really give enough details first.

Faulty product
Bought silicone for bathroom but it had to be thrown away due to being hard inside the canister. Even using a silicone gun it couldn’t be used, eventually canister was cut to see the silicone completely set inside - the entire contents.

It works
I finally found the affordable product I was looking for for the kitchen and bathroom. I applied it without any problems. If black spots caused by moisture do not occur as claimed, the product is fine. If you don't have a finisher you have to get one it is a game changer.
