Works great with Overhead Door!
Works great with Overhead Door! Honestly works better than the original! Super easy to program, and just works! The instructions were okay, but you can tell it was a translation from another language. The buttons have a satisfying click to them, and the blue light is a great touch! Much better than factory original. The original one has 3 buttons and you never know which one will work, I swear it changes every time 🙄 But this one let's YOU decide which one to program, and then it just works every time! And it's like half the price of the original! Definitely recommend this remote! Would certainly buy again if I ever need one! If you're looking for something cheap that is just gonna work, this is it! I'm in a rental home, and needed a second remote for my car... This works great and was super cheap. Visor clip is also very secure in my car!

Works well but very cheap construction
I have two garages that over the years ended up with different brands of opener. This "universal" opener is compatible with both of them and works well once I could get the buttons paired. The pairing process is laid out in the instruction manual clearly enough, but depending on your opener it can be fiddly to get working. In order to set a button you have to put it in pair mode, then press the button a number of times to tell it which brand/frequency to use. There is a table in the instruction pamphlet that lays out the different combinations. For my genie opener, the process was easy and straightforward. For my chamberlain opener it took some trial and error to figure out the correct version, and when I found the correct one, it took 19 button presses to set the mode. I had to retry like 10-15 times before I could get it paired correctly. It works well once programmed, but I worry I'll to have repair once the coincell batter dies. The only other critique is the metal clip to mount on the visor is cheap and small, so instead of clipping snuggly to the visor it's instead kind of bent and sticking out. For what it is and how cheap it is, I'm plenty happy, but this isn't a super high quality product.

Good alternative to old Clicker remotes with dual modes - rolling code & dip switches
Was about to order a replacement Clicker remote when I noticed reviews stating they do not include dip switches anymore. Needed dip switches to open a gate operator, and also a rolling code remote to open a garage. Its nice to have them both on one remote. Programmed the remote with the dip switches and successfully opened the gate - no problem! The rolling code was a bit more of a endeavor. Have a Genie garage door opener and spent about 30 minutes continuously attempting to program it to no avail. There are 3 different button press directions depending on the year-Intellicode frequency. I thought I had a later model so was only trying one of the button press directions. Right when I was about to give up and return this remote, I tried the other directions and it worked on the first try! My suggestion before giving up on this, if you have a Genie, try ALL 3 different button press directions if one of them doesn't work. Another thing about this remote is that it can be prone to accidental button pushes if you put it in your pocket. The buttons go right up to the edge, so its easy to press by accident. If you have this mounted in a car, its not be an issue.

Purchased three, one works
After a couple of weeks, two of them would not power up and work. Batteries good, program light comes on, but then all power goes out after pressing any button. I emailed support and no reply after two days. At least one still works, but I won't buy a fourth one to take any more chances.

Awesome
I recently moved from a place that had a manual garage door to one with an electric door. I was super excited, until I realized there wasn't a remote, so it was basically the same as having a manual door (having to get out of the car, open it, get back in, drive the car in, etc etc). I decided to try this remote and then put off programming it for weeks because I was worried it wouldn't work and would be too hard to set up. I'm happy to report that not only is it SUPER easy to program (took less than 5 mins!), but it works. It has a frankly ridiculous range (I can open the garage door from my kitchen, which is a good 6 yards and several walls away). It works much better than most openers I've used that were brand name and original. I absolutely recommend this for a low-cost, easy option.

Easy Setup
I have 2 separate garage doors both Linear brand and the setup took less than a minute for each one. One garage is attached to my house and the other one is beside the house and being able to control both doors with one remote is great. Highly recommend this product!

Difficult to pair with 1/2 not working after 8 months
The included directions do not work. However, thanks to other reviewers on here I was able to get it to correctly pair with my garage opener on both remotes. Not all that universal because no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to pair with our front gate. The range is atrocious, need to practically be on top of the garage door for it to trigger. It's only been 8 months and already one of them isn't working at all. Tried changing the battery to no avail. Considering how basic the PCB is I don't understand why it's no longer functioning, nothing appears broken or burned out on the board and all the solder appears intact so it's a mystery why its now non-functioning.
