Is this any good as a curl reviver in between washes? And does it dry soft or crunchy?

I use it to refresh and it works v well. I dampen hair down with a mist and add some gel to a wet hand then apply. You can then air dry or diffuse. If it does dry a bit crunchy ( more so if left to air dry) then it’s easily scrunched out. This does contain protein if that’s something your hair doesn’t like.

Would this work to encourage natural curls in wavy hair?

I use it on my hair which is naturally curly. It helps to define my natural curl and when used with a diffuser hairdryer it gets even more curly and volumised. I guess you would just need to try it to find out. It's a nice product.
