My vet said not to use it. Returned. UPDATE:My vet didn't want me to give this to my cats. But, she was referring to my late cat. I decided to feed it to my surviving cats as I'm concerned about their health too since they too are seniors. I decided to add this to their Churro treat. They gobble it up. I will continue to feed. There are no side effects. I think it's a good value. Easy to use.

This is such a game changer. My cat’s creatine, bun, and sdma levels dropped to non kidney disease levels on this!!! We started a year ago and he just kept improving. I’m so grateful. We give this once a day one tablet. He’s 9lbs and 6 years old. We also give standard process whole body and enteric support 2x a day each. It took me about a week to introduce this to my cat. I bought a twisting pill crusher to mix in her food. I transitioned her over to a wet diet and have been adding these to her meals. She won't eat solid pills so they must be crushed. She is on wet renal food, kidney support gold, a probiotic, and this. It has been a difficult 3 weeks to get her to used to the supplements and new food but I think this does work. At this stage, I noticed many positives: She has an appetite and wants to eat small meals through out the day. She is not vomiting every day...or nauseous from her ckd. She is playful. She doesn't sleep all day. She enjoys bringing me her toys. She is more social with us. She still drinks a lot of water and pees a lot. I'm looking forward to continuing using this supplement for my girl.

I only started giving my Blu this supplement Aug 25, 2026. I mix it in with another Standard Process supplement called Total Body Support. I crush the small tablets and mix in with her food. Eats it right up. I was giving her Renal Food and she liked this as well. I would have continued with it but I contacted Standard Process and asked if I could mix Renal Food with Total Body Support. The Vet Tech said yes I could do this. She followed by asking if I knew they also made a Feline Renal Support. I responded to her email and said I didn’t know this. Although the Renal Food supplement is great it can be used for cats and dogs etc. So, I immediately ordered the Feline version. I’m so thankful I accidentally bumped into their company while researching recommendations for CKD (chronic kidney disease) in cats. What a wonderful and very interesting company. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone reading my review takes a good look into this company. They make natural supplements for animals and humans. I can’t review the results for these products yet as I just started my 14yr old Blu on this….but have tremendous faith. It’s worth a try after all the research I’ve been doing. Wishing anyone with kidney disease kitties the best. Read the reviews too. Some very good results! I started my other 4 kitties on Total Body Support as maintenance for their health.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I’d like to bring others hope. This supplement helped save my 16 year old cat’s life. He crashed out of nowhere one day. We went to the vet and he was diagnosed with kidney disease. It was so advanced the vet didn’t know if their treatment would save him or not. I ordered this that same day and it arrived the next. They hospitalized him during the day for 3 days. I crushed this up and mixed it with a Delectables Squeeze Up and Kidney Gold each morning before he went to the vet and each night when he came home and fed it to him from a spoon. Each day he looked a little better and better. On the third day, they ran his labs to see if the fluids were helping. His kidney numbers had actually increased despite his obvious improvement so we were shocked. They sent us home with subcutaneous fluids to do daily. We continued to do that along with his kidney supplement mixture for 10 days. He was doing so well at the end of 10 days that he only needed fluids twice a week. We’ve continued his kidney supplement mixture twice daily the entire time. It has been a month since his first bad day and each day he is better and better. He is much more social than he’s been in years. I haven’t had more labs done to know exactly what his kidneys are doing, but I am so grateful for his improvement and I know this product has a lot to do with it!
