Does this grow a thick hair line like watermans grow me shampoo ?

IT will not grow hair where none was before . It will only "unblock the hair follicles that have closed up due to the hair being too weak to grow through the minute hole in skin. The hair that re grows is about 50 % likely to be colourless and may need colouring

What is the expiration date? (1 or 2 years from date of purchase? more? less?)

I obtained a bottle of Regaine last month, Aug 2014, and it's use-by date is April 2017.

Does the package fit through a standard door mail slot?

No it's not , and it's nothing to do with the package , The minoxidil bottle is too big .
