EMUAIDMAX First Aid Ointment for Eczema-Prone, Dry & Itchy Skin, 2 oz

This is wonderful. I use it all the time, from cuts, to exema, to burns. I am allergic to neosporin or any other med that is sulfer based. so finding this was such a gift. I know it is expensive. But it is the only thing that really works, stops itching, heals wounds.

This stuff works for me. Probably not an overnight fix if that's what you're looking for. But put together a treatment plan like twice a day or something. You'll see results pretty quick. I did anyway

I’ve always remembered a funny line from a “Seinfeld” episode I saw years ago. George Costanza visits the doctor, has a brief consultation lasting less than two minutes and is charged the princely sum of $75. (This was thirty-five years ago. In today’s dollars, that would be about $200.) His incredulous response to the outrageous fee: “What? Am I seeing Sinatra in there? Am I being entertained?” And that’s the way I feel about this ointment. It’s not that it doesn’t work. It’s that it is outrageously priced. They could probably make more money by charging less than half the price and allowing more people to try the damn thing. Because the remarkable thing is… this cream does work; it’s just that it’s hard for mere mortals to justify the price. And that is a barrier to adoption. There’s also the issue of taking care of the community. At their core, products such as this are meant to heal and provide comfort. When you set the price so high, you deprive a lot of people of that comfort. Look, everybody is entitled to make a profit. But if your product is dedicated to providing “potent, non-steroidal care for skin conditions” suffered by many, it seems a bit disingenuous to make your customers take out a second mortgage on their homes just to try it. But, hey, maybe that’s just me. Moving beyond this glaring issue, this cream is terrific. It’s rare to find a product that actually does what it says it does. This one does. It stops itching and redness and works on a number of skin conditions, where other creams and remedies and ointments (even prescription ones) have failed.

I’m going to explain how I got this product to work, and to be honest, it isn’t a pretty story. I had been dealing with an extremely uncomfortable toenail fungus on my right-big toe since late 2019, and I also have been dealing with mild-to-severe athlete’s foot since I was in middle school with the symptoms and discomfort first arriving in 8th grade, which was 2015 for me. The bottom line is that my feet have been cursed between genetically inherited dryness AND over-perspiration, athlete’s foot, and then a toenail fungus that made EVERYTHING insufferable for YEARS. I bought this product in 2020 and never committed to it until a month ago to-date. The reasons I neglected to use this were vast. This fungus was doing terrible things to my mental health due to the sheer level of discomfort. [WARNING: GRAPHIC] Some days, the symptoms between athlete’s foot and the fungus caused so much itchiness to the point where I would scratch until heaps of dead skin came off eventually drawing blood and other disgusting fluids that were not native to my body that would rise in the form of a blister. It seemed like unless I went to a podiatrist, this was going to be excruciating forever. PLEASE just go to a podiatrist if you start noticing ANY of these symptoms. However, I fully understand that not everyone’s insurance will cover a podiatrist visit and/or treatment plan, and I also understand that it is extremely embarrassing to reveal these issues to literally anybody. The reason I went into detail with my situation is so other people can maybe feel like there IS light at the end of the tunnel — due to how bad my situation was. Mind you, these issues were causing discoloration on ALL of my toenails and basically causing all of the toenails to nearly rot. It was gross, uncomfortable, and doing damage on my mental and physical health. HERE IS HOW I GOT EMUAID MAX TO WORK [WARNING: GRAPHIC] I used this to nurse both of my big-toenails because that is where the fungus was doing the most damage. My right toe was FAR worse than my left, and the fungus on the right toe was more exposed. Around a month ago when I got out of the shower, I noticed a beginning of a new and somewhat healthy nail growing in from the base, so I trimmed that right-big toenail AS FAR down as I could, basically manually excavating a HUGE portion of the fungus. It was absolutely disgusting, and I couldn’t believe what had been festering under that dead toenail for YEARS. I used my clipper on ALL my toenails, but I worked extra hard to pick out as much of the loose fungus as possible without inducing pain or skin tearing. I was able to make a very small amount of progress, even removing some large chunks of it right away. The water softening my skin ultimately softened my toenails and the underlying fungus. At this point, I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. This fungus had hijacked so much of my mental health and made average good days in the world massively uncomfortable for me. HOWEVER, I knew that this fungus being fully exposed to oxygen was the sign to get to work and make this go away. I refused to allow a new healthy toenail to get hijacked by this fungus. Once it was exposed to oxygen, it’s easy to imply that it’s entirely more treatable as long as you stay committed to it. HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: I basically did the work of a podiatrist by myself by trimming off the entire dead part of the toenail; thus, exposing it to oxygen and making it easier to treat. Mind you as I mentioned earlier, I’m using this on both big toenails, and my left toenail has extremely minimal discoloration along with minimal symptoms compared to the right toenail. I’ve been putting this on both of those toenails 3-4 times per day for a month-to-date, and it has in fact worked on both toenails, but at different speeds and pace of efficiency. The right toenail, due to being exposed yet far more severe, has cleared up EXTREMELY fast. The new base has been growing in very fast and healthily with zero discoloration. The new toenail has pushed out the remnants of the fungus that were never save for me to extract by hand, and it is already near the end of its growth. Luckily I also happen to grow my nails in fast, so this process may not be as fast for everyone. On the LEFT toenail—the fungus that is minor and not exposed to oxygen—this has ALSO worked very well given I’m applying it 3-4 times daily post-showering. The difference is that it is recovering slower, and it’s harder to notice the progress, but wow is the progress still showing thankfully. I simply notice the discoloration and discomfort going away beginning on the part that was most discolored, which means this cream has been doing its job in directly attacking the fungus’s source. Here’s the deal: I got very lucky, even after irresponsibly doing what a podiatrist should have done in removing an entire dead toenail, that I was able to directly treat the fungus on my right toenail. If you have a severe case of toenail fungus and know you aren’t able to get away with what I was luckily able to do, you MUST go to a podiatrist! The point of explaining my entire journey of dealing with this though, is to give two clear examples of a slow treatment (left big-toenail) and a faster and more aggressive treatment on a right big-toenail that looked like it had zero hope. If you read this because you are dealing with similar foot issues and also have toenail fungus, what you need to know is that it is a living parasite that is highly adaptable. If you leave this problem untreated, it will elusively find a way to fester without you noticing it on certain days. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE “GOOD” DAYS. IT IS NOT LEAVING ON ITS OWN. YOU HAVE TO TREAT IT ASAP. It is insanely rare that toenail fungus will disappear on its own. Even on days where you don’t feel the discomfort, it is actively making your life harder, and the symptoms will resurface more aggressively. It’s very important that once you start this healing process, you pay close attention to the toenail’s regrowth to make sure it is coming in healthy. You need to trim your nails more often and wash your feet with more care to keep the toenail’s surface clean for the application of the EmuAid Max cream. You CANNOT put EmuAid Max on an uncleaned toenail and expect it to work. Good luck, and I hope this has been helpful to at least somebody. The spectrum of severity for toenail fungus is absolutely massive. THERE IS HOPE. You just need to apply yourself to treating the problem, and maybe this is a sign for you to finally go to a podiatrist if you are realizing that it will require professional treatment. There is nothing wrong with doing that, and it’s entirely more important that you do everything you possibly can to tackle the problem. Like I said, it is a LIVING PARASITE that is programmed to adapt and spread wherever possible. Using EmuAid Max directly on the SOURCE for where it is visibly harboring itself, in concert with the the rest of my remedies, has not only killed the fungus on that nail, but has erased any other symptoms on other toes it was trying to spread to. Therefore, this treatment worked for me with lots of commitment and extra care. It doesn’t matter how severe it is, you can do no wrong by applying it 3-4 times per day per the instructions. I give it 5 stars at the end of the day because as long as I followed instructions, it has worked well. If you’re able to SAFELY trim down a discolored toenail down to healthiest part of the base, then you may pursue that with caution, since I’ve already explained how the fungus being exposed made it weaker and easier to treat. If an ENTIRE nail is dead/discolored, DO NOT TRIM IT ALL THE WAY DOWN. Let a podiatrist do this for you because they will be able to give you the proper remedies for growing out a brand new healthy nail. It can be too risky to do that by yourself without the proper remedies. Personally, I just got lucky that a somewhat-healthy nail started growing in on its own, so I felt more comfortable conducting a deep treatment of my own. Good luck! I just finished my last jar and I decided that I will not be continuing with Emuaid Max. I've suffered from nail fungus for over 20 years, and despite careful washing of my feet, cleaning of my tub, and frequent changing of socks and shoes, I have struggled with finding a cure. I have seen numerous doctors and specialists, and I have tried an array of over the counter and prescription meds. I used tea tree oil for many years, but I have also used Lamisil, Lotrimin, and other products. Immediately before I found Emuaid Max, I was using Vick's Vaporub daily with negligible results. If anything, it maintained my condition, but did not do anything remarkable. I tried Emuaid Max for the first time about a year ago and kept up with it for my daily routine. Within a matter of weeks, my nails started to clear up, but they still were hard to cut and thick. I tried cutting my nails back to help the Emuaid work better, but it did not improve my results. Today, it's obvious that I still have nail fungus, although my nails are a little more pink than before. In the end, the results are about the same as I saw with straight Tea Tree Oil applied daily. (Tea tree oil is a major ingredient of Emuaid). Honestly, I prefer using a cream like Emuaid to something liquid like tea tree oil, but the price per jar is very expensive for me to justify anymore. I know this product has helped many others find a cure, but it did not help me. That said, I would certainly reconsider buying this product again if it wasn't $60 for a 2oz container. $20 or $30 would be a much more attractive price point for the results I had. At $30/jar, I would consider it a fair price to maintain my condition and keep it in my foot care routine.

This is going to be a very truthful review. It is going to contain information that most people feel is personal and private. Consider yourself warned, too much information is going to be stated here. i am writing the review I wish I had found when I needed answers. I was diagnosed with a severe anal fissures and a really large accompanying skin tag. Went to a doctor and he told me the answer was surgery. However, what they don't actually tell you is that it'll take the fissure months to heal even with surgery. Also, there is the likely hood of have problems controlling stools after the surgery. This is not something that happens only if you are constipated. It can also happen to those that have frequent loose bowls too. I am affected by the loose stools so I think that controlling stools after the surgery would have ruined my life. All that being said I did NOT want to proceed with the surgery so I was determined to heal the fissure no matter what it would take. I am way too young to need to wear depends for any length of time. I scoured the internet in search of the remedy. I healed myself when it came to depression and anxiety, when the traditional doctor and medicine routine left me worse then I was when I started. Needless to say at this point I am not at all confident in our medical treatments. I bought books and I read everything I could. I was trying hard to stay away from the medical community recommendations, as all were promoting the surgery. I did find some useful information. First and foremost be gentle with the area. Use the sitz baths as often as possible! I would een get up in the middle of the night and use the sitz bath. Keep the area as clean as possible, not easy in this scenario, especially with a very large skin tag. Keeping the area dry with powder helped some days, other days not so much. Witch hazel is also good. Wet toilet paper with it and gently pat the area. Please make sure it is a good quality one like T.N. Dickinson's. All are not created equal. Do Kegel exercises. ALL OF THE TIME. While you are probably going to find this to be painful too, it helps! While washing use a gentle, scent free soap, this to me is just common sense... Coconut oil was the first thing I found that helped immensely, but that just wasn't enough. Then I found this. I figured it was a scam. But nope. It quickly healed my fissure and it has almost completely removed my very large associated skin tag. You do not know how relieved I am that I did not go through with the surgery! This is really a lifesaver! Being able to live a normal productive life and sit again after months and months of horrible pain! I really just can't say enough. I feel like people reading this will think I am being ridiculous. That is unless you have fissures and are looking for relief. My only regret. I didn't find it sooner. Months of my life were spent miserable and in horrible pain and I could have healed so much faster had I find and ordered this sooner! You never realize how much you do affects your anal area. You sneeze. Ouch. You cough. OMG. You sit.... You get the picture. Also, incase you haven't put two and two together yet. Fissures are 100% caused by what you ingest. I like to drink cocktails. When I partake in more than one it changes things for me the next day. Yes, I am referring to my bowl movements. I have determined that there is something in alcohol that leads to the next day not being how it should and when this happens on a daily basis for years this is the outcome. So since this I have quit drinking alcohol for the most part. I have found that if I have one drink here or there I don't suffer any repercussions. Last, taking fiber really made things worse for me. Until, I figured out how to take the fiber. I needed to take the fiber in between breakfast and lunch. If I took it after lunch or later it was not worth taking. I have since been able to stop taking the fiber. I do still have the cream, as I didn't even put a dent in it and it had healed my fissure and basically removed my skin tag. I still use it every so often as a preventative measure. Not sure if it works that way to or not. But I NEVER want to live with a fissure again, so I'll do what I can to avoid it. I'll end with this. This product is less expensive than any co-pay or surgery related costs. If this healed me, isn't it worth the chance?

UPDATE: seller saw comment and refunded full price of product. I would recommend this seller because they saw the product didnt work for my son and refunded me without me asking for a refund. The product didn't work for us, but the seller is honorable so I am adjusting my rating. ——-I was hesitant to buy this product because of the price, but I decided to give it a try to help with my child’s eczema. It didn’t do anything like all of the advertisements claim. There was no noticeable change after finishing the product. Smells like tea tree oil and the bottle was like the size of a lip balm for like $26. Save your money and try out another product because this one didn’t work at all. It is crazy that they charge that much money and for there to be literally no results. I usually never leave reviews, but with the price and lack of effectiveness I just had to warn others before they purchased.

I bought this for toe nail fungus. I’ve had it for YEARS, so it is pretty bad. I don’t really know whether it moisturizes well or any of that. I saw it has helped others with toe nail fungus, and if you have big thick yellow toenails that hurt and bleed when you trim them, you’ll know why I was willing to spend this much on a HOPE that it works. Let me preface by saying I have been trying to fight this for YEARS! I’ve tried laser treatments that were super expensive and painful, and I honestly think that caused them to thicken somehow like they had air pockets. So gross. My doctor kept trying to give me medication that can take up to two years to work and causes liver damage, but I’ve watched enough episodes of House to know you don’t risk liver damage. There is newer stuff that my insurance wouldn’t even cover that costs about $600 a month and can also take a year or more to work, I couldn’t afford that. I’ve tried every over the counter treatment known to man, where you trim and file the nails to bloody stumps and then put drops of acid on them and supposedly in 6 months to a year THAT works. Constant agony and not one showed a HINT of working for me. I did a daily foot soak in diluted vinegar and then mixed up coconut oil, and tea tree oil and applied it after (that actually showed some promise, but it’s a 1/2 an hour at least each day and I was going through a TON of stuff, so THAT got expensive. So comparatively, this didn’t seem too expensive to at least try. I’ve been using it less than a month. I try to keep the nails trimmed of as much bad stuff as I can, but not the way I did for other things. (I should note that I have gotten so discouraged that I heard you can have the nails surgically removed and then treat the nail bed and it sometimes works, but the nails can grow in terribly wrong! Still, I was looking into when I found this). So trimmed short, but not obsessively or painfully. Then I started to apply this with a cotton swab. I’d place a rather thick coat on the effected nails two or three times a day and then put socks on. It takes me maybe a minute to do. Many days I would forget and only do it once. Still, the nails on my right foot are looking more and more clear. Not sure why I don’t see as much progress in the left yet, but seeing ANY for so little time and effort and ZERO pain? That’s awesome! So as I came back to order more (I still have a little less than half a container, but I am NOT risking running out!), I decided to leave a review. NOTHING works quickly on toenail fungus that I’ve seen, but this DOES seem to be working, and I’ve spent less than most every other treatment. (The cheap ones that did nothing but cause pain, those are the most expensive of all!). The fact that I’m not bleeding and struggling to walk afterwards or sitting still with my feet in water as hot as I can tolerate for 30-45 minutes daily, that’s all amazing, because I was starting to think there was no easy or pain free treatment (without risking liver damage that is). I’ll try to remember to give future updates to say how long I had to do it, but I’m really happy and hopeful that this will finally do it.

I saw the reviews and so many ads on social media about this product. I thought it will help me in nail fungus. I buy and used it for more than 6 weeks. And result is zero. I don't recommend specially for nail fungus and nail diseases.

Over priced and doesn't do what it claims it's supposed to do. Does not treat Eczema or does anything related to Eczema it only fights nail fungus but is required to keep applying it. Has a very strong smell overwhelming of tea tree. Price does not justify it, is over priced for the amount you get. My advice is look for something else.

I have nooooo idea how this product works but omg IT WORKS! About 5 years ago I went cycling in Hawaii and got my feet soaked due to rain, they stayed that way for about 8 hours...and that was that. I came back to Canada and developed a painful infection in my big toe. I went on strong antibiotics which seemed to do the trick...well almost. It never truly healed. The pain was gone but the nail was always whitish and ridges on it (maybe should have had a longer course)..then it was on my other big toe. Im a pretty healthy person so i believe i just had a low level of infection for all these years. After trying a few products (including ozonated oil) i was just about ready to go back to the doctors to try and get it cleaned up once and for all. Until I came across this stuff...i thought one last chance before submission to pharmaceuticals ugg...and dang I'm happy I tried. Honestly it took about maybe a week putting it on a few times a day and maybe even the odd day once a day in that time and it was improving! I have no clue how it can do it soooo fast but now its been almost a month and my nails look pretty much back to normal! All I can say is that it worked for me. And yes its dang expensive but! Really truly worth the try!
