how to unlock/open this Zip Ties?

Hello . There is a button on the product to unlock it. It is easy to operate. Very convenient

Why are some people saying these don’t hold and come apart and others are saying push the lever and it locks? Has this product been updated?

I bought mine about 13 months ago they seem to work fine not sure what they meant by push the lever to lock them it’s just the opposite the little lever you push to unlock them and then you can slip them right off and reuse them. At least that’s the way they work on the ones that I bought 13 months ago.

Can they be cut to a smaller length and still function the same?

Yes they can, they may be little harder to start as you will have cut off the smooth, thinner, tapered end but they will work.
