Awesome Replacement for Dim Headlight!
I bought these headlight bulbs for a pair of 2018 Indian Scouts. The original H4 headlights did not light up much. When I went looking for an LED replacement the bulbs that fit "out of the box" were $150 and up. I read the reviews on this bulb and decided to give it a try. As delivered the bulb does not fit the Indian headlight rim as others pointed out. But after a little filing on the bulb it fit petfectly in the Indian headlight rim. I used a utility knife to trim the plastic film on the bulb and left the film on while I filed the the edge of the lens on the bulb ao avoid scratching the lens. Once the bulb was in the headlight rim and back in the bike i peeled the film. The bulb lights up a dark roadway much better than the stock bulb. It definitely had a different look than the stock bulb. One thing many of the reviewers mention was that the directions that come with the bulb don't say which way is up on the bulb. I mounted the bulbs with the writing at the top. After dark I turned the lighl on with it shining on the garage door and cycled the light switch. Writing at the top is the correct orientation. Time will tell if it lasts but so far I love it. It's bright, wasn't too difficult to fit and install and it did not break the bank. I would definitely recommend this bulb for anyone looking to save some money that isn't afraid to do a little filing.

Awesome with Personal Mod
Nice quality light. Fits my 2010 Honda Fury bucket, BUT I had to make some serious types of Macguiver type of mods to mount it properly. This didnโt really come with a mounting bracket and the stock one on the Fury didnโt exactly fit or line up properly. I ended up making my own mods as stated where I had to use steel weld epoxy along with the stock mounting ring while having to cut a couple pieces off then line everything up while the epoxy set and cured. Wasnโt terrible if you have some simple shop skills or persistent enough to just think it thru. I should have taken pictures of the steps I took, but didnโt. Sorry Amazonians! Point being though that after my mods I hooked it up inside the light bucket, everything lined up and worked like a charm. Looks awesome too like those high end Harley Lights, just at a fraction of the cost with a little effort and thought. Diameter of the light was perfect too. I am about to pack up the bike for winter, but if I remember to take pics I will and post the finished look on here. I bought the chrome one and my bike is Silver all chromed out and this light looks sweet! Much brighter at night too, but I only rode once at night recently and donโt ride at night very often. Mostly due to schedule and the whack jobs who canโt drive in daylight let alone at night around here. I like the light though and my mods are permanent so once you go all-in with this light youโre going to like it, but also no point of return to stock. I would have hoped this came with some sort of mounting ring or even mounting holes in certain places to make it easier, but point being it is what it is and I made it work out well for me. If anyone has a Honda Fury and wants me to explain details, just ask, but once you commit to it, thatโs it, youโd have to be pretty precise on your own mod.

Deserves 6 stars, perfect fit, literally plug and play, high beam super easy to center and makes adjustment a snap!
WOW! WOW! WOW! I have 140k miles on my 2003 Harley Dyna and have tried so many different daystar, sivlerstar, halogen bulbs it's ridiculous. The HD LED headlights are 3 -4 times the price of this which is why I never purchased them. THis headlight fit perfect in my 5 3/4 inch headlight housing. It was literally disconnect old light, connect new light, tighten bezel, and ride. SUPER easy, exact replacement. This headlight is FREAKING BRIGHT! AMAZINGLY bright! There is a definite difference between low and high beam (not accurately portrayed in pic) but the high beam throws a vertical wall of light way down the road. I would give it a conservative estimate of 3x the distance of the same watt halogen bulb. If ever a product was appropriately named, the DAYMAKER headlight is that product. Because of the vertical oval of light thrown in the high beam, it was extremely easy and quick to adjust the headlight exactly where I wanted it for max throw. I wish I had a dual headlight setup so I could have TWO of these things! I have not been this impressed with a product in a while. I ran Sylvania Silverstar, Phillips Xtreme Vision and this LED shames every bulb I've tried. When you look at the pics, just understand that they DO NOT do the amount of light this headlight produces any justice at all. BUY THIS HEADLIGHT NOW!

Great Little Light
2005 Harley Sportster XL1200C. This is my daily driver, I don't drive this bike at night much, just wanted a light to be seen better in the day mostly. My other bike is a Ultra Glide with all the OEM HD Day Maker lights/headlight and running lights and all other HD factory LED's on the bike. I am an aircraft mechanic and professional pilot for 40 years, worked on cars in dealerships before airplanes. I installed this light today in about 30 minutes, it replaced the stock HD light that came on the bike new. It wasn't exactly a plug and play, but it only required simple modifications. First the plug wouldn't fit flush in/to the blub, it liked about 1/16 of an inch going in all the way, instead of cutting off the 3 prongs (since I wasn't for sure this thing would work and I would keep it) I elected to wrap electrical tape around the plug/connection to protected it from moisture and to keep the debris out so it wouldn't short out in the future, the plug was snug but just wanted to protect the 1/16 that wasn't flush. Second the inside trim ring (that you do not see when the light is installed) that is behind the outside chrome trim ring, the inside ring has to bent/sprung a little bit with pliers to make the light fit snug, this takes a couple of tries. Rode the bike tonight and adjusted the light. It is not a HD Day Maker but it is a neat little light. It is bright and white, rode it earlier in the day and it showed up white really nice in the day as well "to be seen". It is much better than the stock HD light in day or night. There is a noticeable 'small' dark shadow ring (nothing major) about 15 feet in front of the bike, high or low beam but less on high beam (this is the only down fall that doesn't make it as nice as the HD Day Maker and the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5). There is a bright spot around the front wheel on the ground almost back to the crash bars, like someone else mentioned in their review, this is nice. I would recommend this light and would purchase it again. This light shines the distance on low or high much better than the stock HD light.

Best Buy for the Buck!
Wow! It's important you know I am for the most part a die-hard genuine HD product purchaser. If I don't buy genuine HD, I buy from HD recommended or approved product vendors. This time, simply because of price-point, I deviated from my norm and bought the black background 5.75 LED Daymaker Headlight for my 2008 Softail Custom. This replacement headlamp light is truly "spot on" for the price point and practical value. Talk about brightening up the road at night! Wow! This headlamp is a 10-fold improvement over the original halogen headlamp light, without question. To be quite frank, I wasn't aware how poorly the original halogen functioned until I replaced it with this unit. With that, I cannot fathom why one would purchase the HD unit at $399 when you can buy this one for a fraction of the cost. By way of example, last night, I was rolling down a backroad in West Michigan without any highway/lamp road lighting and this headlamp lit up the road and the sides of the road exceptionally well at normal causing speeds. I'm sold. With this headlamp, I feel a bit safer at night and I'm 100% confident my visibility is strikingly more obvious during daytime rides too. I chose for my highly-chromed, gloss black Softail Custom, the black background headlamp. I think the black in the chrome housing with my black bike makes for a stunning look. I also ordered the chrome background headlamp so that when or if I ever want to change up my look, I can do that too. It's a great product. I'm sold.

Best Headlight I have ever used
I recently purchased the Daymaker 5ยพ LED headlight for my 2005 883 sportster. I purchased this headlight because I was tired of never being able to see at night when I would be riding which was always a little nerve wracking because I was afraid of hitting a deer late at night due to not being able to see. I also purchased the Daymaker headlight because I was tired of cars not being able to see me very well at night and then never turning of their high beams when coming towards me. I would say that I figured with this Daymaker being so cheap compared to the Daymaker that you get for $300-$500 from the Harley Davidson shop it was not going to as good of quality. Once I received mine for Amazon and compared it to the one from the Harley shop I could not find a difference between the two. I was very happy with how fast it had arrived, and did not take very long to install. Once you got the old one out, it was just a simple plug and play and you are ready to go. The only negative that I would say about this product is that if you do it by yourself it is kind of a pain to get the light to stay in the housing and get the bezel back on and tightened back down without having it fall out on you. Other then that I would give this an easy 6 stars. After I installed the headlight you could automatically see the difference between the Daymaker headlight and the stock headlight. The brightness of this light still has me in shock because it is not very often that you can have a headlight be bright enough to light up stop signs , speed limit signs, etc. during the day and be able to see it shining off them when you are riding. You will never have to worry about not being able to see a deer off in the ditch or down the road in front of you or have a car come up over a hill or around a corner and not be able to see you or not shut off their high beams due to not being able to see you. Also not riding at night is no longer a problem, it lights up the road right in front of you just as bright as it does 30 plus feet in front of you making it no problem at all for riding at night. I would recommend this headlight to anyone that is looking for a cheap upgrade to their back and something that it going to not only work great but look great as well.

Best damn headlight for my Harley should have got it sooner!
This is far none the best 40 bucks i have spent on my bike that im was not happy with. The light is super bright on it and the chrome inside it looks great to. It fit right in on my headlamp bracket i just had to use my old rubber mount that you used to stop it moving some and it worked great. Took a ride at night that day i put it in wow i can see so much now than i would with my old headlamp. I wish i would have got this sooner but im happy i did now. its worth a lot more than 40 dollars i think its a great buy. i think anyone that dont have it should get it. You will be so much happier when you do. And its not 400 dollars like Harley's day maker is think this is just as good as it is. I think the chrome in it makes it brighter and shines off it i think. The back is nice looking its very well made from what i see to. I dont think its glass but not sure but if its not at least it wont crack of brake if it was unlike the real Harley day makers are tho. I have picks showing it in daylight and at dark time. Showing how dark it is out then turning it on. i can light up the side of the house with this thing and all. and a vid showing it to

If you ride at night.....you need these
I have it on a 2007 HD nightster. Easy to install. Nice and bright. No need to unhook battery. Just remove old headlight, click connection, re-attach headlight bracket and you are good to go. Install took 30 mins. My 10 year old son installed the headlight. Besides the updated look, the function of riding at night are not even close. Hi beams are level and bright. I would recommend. Pics can be sent if required.

Great value easy to fit
Great quality and easy to fit, only thing I found was once installed was a bit loose fit in the bucket but was easily sorted by adding a small bit of packing inside the headlight rim . I Would highly recommend this headlight . And would not hesitate to buy another one if ever needed. Hopefully this will last a long time.

Awesome daymaker light.
Love the product, good quality, value for the money. Had this daymaker on my bike for about 2 years now and it steel going strong. Nice and bright. When installing be patient to find a good spot in the light housing to fit it in. Definitely would recommend.

Fit 1984 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk
As the title says this fit my bike, but I had to remove a small tab inside the top of the housing. I also had to remove the headlight housing ring. It will take some fooling around but you'll eventually get it in there. The original headlight bracket ring will hold it in place. I'm leaving this review mainly to help out other Nighthawk owners. Nice little product.
