Quoya QL600 Motorised Smart Electric Curtain Track with Remote – Hidden Brackets, Automatic Curtain Opener – App & Voice Control – up to 5 m / 16.4 ft

I was genuinely impressed by the build quality and design of the smart curtain rail. I bought the 3.2m version with the 90 degree bend additional parts so I could install in my bay (see photos). I was worried that adding the extra dimension would complicate the installation so much that it would be beyond my meagre DIY ability and lead to calamity, but I managed surprisingly well. And if I can do it, anyone can! The good - very high quality build, parts fitted and were well designed. As mentioned in other reviews, the written instructions are useless but the videos are excellent - follow them carefully and you can’t go wrong. Some tips - merging the instructions for assembling the 90 degree bend and the standard took a little intuition, but wasn’t too challenging. One piece of constructive criticism - despite the inclusion of a number of smaller track sections to help construct tracks of any size, there was no way to make a track that would fit my space. I suspect that’s quite common. And while they sell additional track, it’s just one of the 1m sections which is no use - I needed more smaller sections. I’d recommend more shorter pieces in the pack in place of one of the 1m sections. Luckily the solution wasn’t too onerous - out came the trusty Dremel and I cut a long piece down to size. It was pretty ragged (have I mentioned I’m crap at DIY?) but didn’t matter in the end, the pulley thing still makes it through that section. One thing to bear in mind - you’re assembling the track face up but you’ll install face down, so the motor will be on the opposite side. Think carefully about which side you want to plug it in and make sure you put the motor on the opposite side as you’re looking at it. I was concerned about the trailing ugly wire and bulky motor. As you can see from the photos, the motor is tucked away in the side of the bay where it won’t be too visible and will hopefully be largely hidden by the curtains. And I installed some trunking to hide the wire. While the wire is fairly long, I did need an extension cable to reach my nearest socket. And a big tip - when installing the drive belt, make sure the two pieces are rolled out into the slots at the top and bottom of the track, not the middle space. I did that by mistake and had to partly disassemble my track to put it right. My biggest worry was in sticking the whole thing to the ceiling, given my chronic lack of skill with such things. One straight track wouldn’t be too bad, but with the curves I was dubious the whole think would snap into the brackets quite as easily as in the video! It did prove the hardest part, and caused some degree of swearing and bickering between myself and my wife. I’d carefully cut the track to a length that fit snuggly into the bay which helped - I could install the brackets pretty much along the very edge of the ceiling so didn’t need to measure distance from the edge. The brackets themselves are flexible as once screwed in place they can slide and rotate somewhat, which is good in case you haven’t quite got them in the right place. Drilling and screwing upwards is a pain, and this caused my biggest problem: because my screws didn’t go in at exactly 90 degrees to the ceiling, when fully screwed in the brackets weren’t completely flush with the ceiling which stopped the track snapping in. I solved it by unscrewing the screws a couple of threads so provide some give. Hopefully that won’t make it fall off the ceiling! The final snap in place was very much a two-persons-shouting-at-each-other job, given the bendy nature of my track and took some effort and several tries. I’d recommend testing each bracket and pair of brackets by snapping in and removing unused track as you go along to make sure they are aligned properly. And putting two or three screws in the bracket nearest the motor, which is very heavy. The final track feels sturdy and secure - haven’t actually got curtains for it yet though, so time will tell! I’ve set it up with my Google home automation system and all is well, the pairing was straightforward. In conclusion - a good system for a good price, straightforward to install. The videos and advertising could perhaps be more forthcoming about the size of the motor and the trailing wire. And it would be better if there were more smaller pieces of track in the pack.

Great product, the step-by-step setup and installation videos are very useful. I just put the curtains up, and they work like a charm! For plasterboard ceilings, I recommend getting special fixings instead of the provided ones. The software setup was pretty easy. For the price, I wish the wave ripple had been included in the kit too. Otherwise, it's an extra £30 for the upgrade.

Overall I am very pleased with the quora QL600. I purchased it to replace a very old silent gliss system which was very noisy and had no remote or app integration. It is super quiet by comparison and using the remote works great. I also use the tuya app and setting up schedules for the curtains was a breeze! I would call myself a competent DIYer and it took about 20mins to put the track together and fix the motor. I purchased the additional wall mounting brackets which come in a pack of 5. As a note of caution, when you use these brackets they cannot be positioned where there is a rail joiner. So don’t drill the wall until you have put the whole rail together and test fitted the brackets! Also where the curtains cross when they are closed seems to have to big a gap, so I will need to play with this some more as the curtain that slides behind seems to sit too low and looks a bit off. I would definitely recommend this product and I will probably buy another one soon.

Very good video instructions were included for the Quoya QL600 smart electric curtain rail . It is well designed and as long as you are methodical, it is easy to assemble. Delighted that we can schedule times to open and close the curtains remotely . Do think that the cable from the motor should be a bit longer to reach the nearest socket. From a functionality point of view it is brilliant but I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 because the curtain does not look as neat as on a standard curtain pole however hard we tried to adjust the tapes. We are delighted with our new electric curtain rail which is both very affordable and practical.

I am impressed by the design and build quality of this curtain track. I fitted it inside my 2.7m wide lounge French door opening, so used the ceiling brackets screwed to the top of the opening. I had no trouble installing it into the Tuya app and then linking the Tuya app to Alexa, so I can now say to Alexa "open curtains" and "close curtains", as well as using the remote. The Tuya app also gives allows you to arrange for the curtains to open automatically at sunrise, but Alexa is better - it lets you specify how many minutes before or after sunrise. Fitting it inside the opening, I obviously needed the track to be exactly the right length: it is possible to cut any of the supplied track pieces to the length you need, but fortunately I found that connecting three of the sections gave me exactly the right length! There are a couple of pieces of advice I can offer: 1. There are no printed instructions and there is a large number of steps involved and a lot of bits and pieces, so don't think of starting before you watch the YouTube videos (at least twice!) 2. It is important that the track is mounted so that it is straight, so make sure the mounting brackets are fitted in a straight line (not as easy as you might think when you are drilling holes into plasterboard or brick using a masonry drill bit!). I screwed the two end brackets up first, then stretched a surveyor's line (just a stretchy string) between them, before marking the positions of the intermediate bracket holes at appropriate places behind the stretched string. Nice bit of kit.

Ich habe das Quoya QL 600 smartes elektrisches Vorhangsystem nun seit einiger Zeit im Einsatz und kann wirklich sagen: Es ist jeden Cent wert. Das System funktioniert genau so, wie es auf der Website beschrieben wird – zuverlässig, leise und absolut ohne Ruckeln oder Stoppen beim Öffnen und Schließen der Vorhänge. Ich habe es zusätzlich mit S- Haken kombiniert, weil ich mir gleichmäßige Falten in den Vorhängen gewünscht habe, was mit dem S- Wave-Runner-System sehr gut funktioniert hat. Die Optik ist dadurch sehr sauber und professionell geworden. Die Installationsvideos waren sehr hilfreich und detailliert erklärt. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass sie in mehreren Sprachen verfügbar sind, sodass man sich einfach die passende Anleitung aussuchen kann. Ein kleiner Nachteil war die lange Wartezeit auf den Wave Runner – ich habe fast drei Monate darauf gewartet. Das ist auch der einzige wirkliche Kritikpunkt, denn das Produkt ist oft nicht auf Lager, sodass man Geduld haben muss. Das Band ist relativ dick, weshalb man es nicht einfach zuhause selbst nähen kann. In meinem Fall musste ich alles zu einer professionellen Schneiderin bringen, die über entsprechende schwere Maschinen verfügt. Mittlerweile nutze ich das System in drei Räumen und plane definitiv, es nach und nach in allen Räumen zu installieren. Besonders im Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer, wo ich einen Balkonzugang habe und die Vorhänge sehr häufig bewege, ist der Komfort enorm. Es reicht ein Klick auf die Fernbedienung oder App, und die Vorhänge öffnen oder schließen sich vollständig. Noch praktischer finde ich, dass die Vorhänge durch das Wave-Runner-System immer aussehen, als wären sie perfekt in Form gebracht worden – als hätte jemand sie vorher 15 Minuten lang arrangiert. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist, dass die Vorhänge überhaupt nicht zerknittern, da man sie nicht mehr ständig mit den Händen berührt. Insgesamt ist es ein sehr hochwertiges, durchdachtes System, das den Alltag wirklich spürbar erleichtert.

Encomendei 5 Quoya QL600. 3 de 3 metros e 2 de 5 metros. Desafortunadamente numa das caixas uma das calhas vinha com defeito (talvez algum impacto no transporte). Espero que me resolvão esta situação, apenas enviando a calha com defeito.

the product cannot be as tight in the rail as one would wish, that means that there is an unpleasent noise when the slides passes over this area. I am sure this can be be minimized taking the rail up and down making minor adjustments, but it is hard for 2 persons taking a 6,7m rail down and up for this, and recieve new results. The product except from this and another minor problem is AWSOME, and I really LOVE IT!!! The other minor problem is that I can with voice (Google Home) turn it on and of, but open and close curtain just opens it, open should open and close should cloke as turns on closes and turn off opens etc. All together a big thank you for this AWSOME product!!!!!
