LED Taper Candles with Remote 4in, 10 Clip-On Christmas Tree Lights

I purchased these to put inside my Dept 56 porcelain Christmas Village houses. Where I have them located during the Christmas season there aren't any outlets to plug the lights in. I couldn't figure out how I was going to light them where I wanted them, and then I can across these. They each only use one battery, and they're not very long, which is perfect! I put one on each house and had the setting on steady light. If I wanted them to flicker, I did have that option. You can also dim the candles or make them brighter using the remote. I found that they look very nice in candle wall sconces as well. Much safer than actual candles. I used these candles every couple of nights for a couple of hours each time and they were still as bright as the first night after a month. The reach of the remote control is very good as I've had to turn the candles on from about 8 feet or so away. Highly recommended!

I am in love with these candles. It is so handy to be able to turn them on and off with a remote, and the remote allows you to choose whether you want them to shine steadily or to flicker; you can even adjust the speed of the flickering. I don't yet know how long the battery life is but I've been using them every evening in my candelabra for a few hours over a period of a few weeks and they still look fabulous. Because you control the whole set with one touch of the remote, it's simple to turn them off when you leave the room, so as to not waste battery. They look incredible without the dangers of real candles. They come with clips, which I haven't used since they sit perfectly in my candelabra, but the clips could be used in other places. These candles really add a special element to my dining table.

Wow these are wonderful. I used them in a chandelier that I bought from here like 10 years ago. My husband & I often take romantic baths together. So as a woman, I have to have the mood set & lighting is pretty much EVERYTHING when it comes to that! And these do the trick just right! We used to use candles but they're dangerous, produce soot, & most importantly- they're a real pain when it comes to lighting them all & blowing them out! So I hung the chandelier over my bathtub & stuck these in (I had to use some double sided tape to stick them in there but that's fine because the battery changes at the top!). & it adds the PERFECT amount of light at night. Ill try to remember to take a pic of them at night but until then, the photo included show them during the day. The remote is very convenient & a MUST HAVE in this situation. It has a dimming lights function but seriously, there is hardly any difference.

Kinda cheap but works fine

They're great! You can set to varying degrees of flickering or steady. They have run for 6 hours every night for 3 weeks without changing batteries. Remote control works line-of-sight, so you need to be in view of the thing to turn it on. It will turn on through glass and light fabric, but would not turn on through a black plastic. As Christmas window candles they're not as tall as the traditional style plug-ins, but I placed mine on the top of the bottom half on my double hung windows (halfway up the window), and they look fine from outside. They're not as bright as the AC powered plug-in type, but they are easily seen from the street 75 yards away. As for durability, all of mine and the remote have worked as advertised for 3 weeks. I have no complaint. And if I only get this one season out of them they will have been worth the money. Edit: still going strong second season of use.

Got these for our Dept. 56 holiday displays. These babies popped right into the little hole where the nightlight thingy usually goes. No need for tangles of cords, daisy-chains, fumbling w those little clip things, no making sure to plug it all into a socket w a light switch. 1 AAA battery each, no cords at all, and they’re all on a teeny remote control. These are perfectly perfect, one of those items that I’ll end up with a million of bc they’re so cute and great

The candles are not bright and the batteries drain quick ( brand new good batteries)

I am often encamped in a small wedge tent with others of a War of 1812 Infangry Regiment. Naturally we strive for an authentic look, but some orgnaizations whose properties we are camped at are not comfortable with burning candles being used inside small tents. I've use a number of these candles in candle lanterns for use at night to preserve an authentic look while honoring the concerns of our hosting orgnizations. I do like the flickering feature but do wish the candles were a bit brighter. I can read by the light of a real candle, but that isn't quite possible with these. The photo is of a favorite candle lantern that is set on my office book shelf.

Very happy with this purchase. I use them as a type of decorative night light. Batteries last a long time.
