Doesn’t command the armies of Mordor but…
I don’t leave reviews usually but this product only had so-so reviews probably. It does exactly what you would expect. I had the 125khz version. Out of the box I got it programmed in a couple seconds with on of the 10$ rfid cloners. It has better range than I expected and works in any direction. People seem to expect that the ring will have the same range as a card which has a drastically larger antenna. This works from about an inch away and near instantly so I can open my door even with bags in my hands.10/10

Works just fine, but a bit short range
Use my ring every day for work and home. I have noticed that different readers have different ranges the ring works with. My door at home is battery-powered and i suspect have a very short range. Often I have to take the ring off the finger press it on the reader for it to work. At work there are several different readers and I notice a difference in range, but all work. Some of locks require me to grab around the keypad to make it register.

Does the Job
Bought this to try because I was sick of having to pull out my wallet at work to go through secure doors. I recently got a Flipper Zero and read my RFID card with it. I was looking for something simple like a keychain RFID tag I could copy my card to and stumbled onto this ring. I picked my size with their sizing chart and it was dead on. Fits perfectly. I had to find the sweet spot on the ring when I was writing to it with my Flipper Zero but it wrote flawlessly. Works great so far! Very convenient. I gave the ring 4 stars because I can already see the finish scratching. I’m curious to see how it will hold up. I also keep in mind it was only $30. If it holds up for a year, I’ll consider that a great purchase!

Nice quality card ring
So I've been searching for the perfect T5577 ring for the card readers at work. I hate having to dig out my ID card or wear a lanyard only to keeping pulling it out at every door. I like rings, so this was a win/win for me. I initially had one of those R5 rings and while nice having 6 writeable cards, I realized I only really used one. The R5 was big and bulky and only had three sizes. But this ring is super lightweight, very slim and comes in many sizes. It feels like a regular wedding band or something of that size, but lighter. I hardly feel it on my finger. It was easily writeable, and works very well on the the doors here at work. Now I can just fist bump the key lock and I don't have to fumble around for a key card. Looks VERY stylish, has a nice two tone subtle color to it. I highly recommend this ring if you are looking for something like this. The ring size is true to size when ordering, so make sure you measure your finger the correct way. Very happy with this purchase, probably will buy a few more for backups.

Functional but not durable.
I bought this to use with my quick access safe (I purchased a programmed version). Within a few minutes of opening it I had it programmed into my safe and loving it! You do have to get very close to the scanner, but that is not a negative for me.After a few weeks I noticed a LOT of scratches on the surface of the ring. Not a big deal for me since I bought it for utility, not looks. About 3 months in I noticed a small chip was missing from the edge, which again was not the end of the world. I filled it with some glue and sanded it smooth so it wouldn't rub or cut my finger. At 4 months a HUGE chunk of it broke off, leaving sharp edges on the inside of the ring and a bunch of the copper wire exposed. I am currently seeing if I can get by with some kind of repair.I LOVE the functionality of this thing! With 5 little kids in the house it is great to know that they can't get into my safe, but I can at a moments notice without having to worry about carrying a key, fob, combo code, or finicky biometrics. I don't know if I will purchase a replacement knowing it will only last 4-6 months, but since I don't know of any other similarly priced product that is better constructed out there I am leaning towards yes. Is it worth $8/month?As a side note, I think whatever material it is made from can be slightly irritating to my skin. No redness or anything, but I could always feel a very very slight irritation to my skin under the ring. At first I thought it was just getting used to wearing a ring on that finger, but after a few months I think it is the material. I have no issue with my wedding band (cobalt chromium) that is a similar fit on the other hand.

Great RFID ring
Been wearing this 24/7 for a year now... still in great shape and works every day. It even looks great, and people complement me on it!!No idea why everyone is complaining about breaking it... Maybe I got lucky and mine is built better, but I'm a handy man / home mechanic / Engineer and I use my hands A LOT. I wear this in place of my wedding ring, so I never take it off. No cracks, no breaks, no issues.... Works every time I need it to.Excellent product!!

Good, until bad
I bought one RFID pinky ring with no problem.I bought another, for next size up, but the same size was sent. I sent it back to replacement. Got right size but it had some random program on it. Ordered another. This one also has some random program on it that cannot be overwritten. I need a blank RFID ring to be sent. This is tiring going back and forth.
