Very poor quality
Product does not seem to be made of leather or the leather is of very poor quality. I will return it right away!

The recipient loved this, they are using it to jot fown design ideas. The book is a good size for a journal, not too big. The outside is nicely embossed, and it has a little brass looking clasp to keep it closed. It comes with a little card stating the otwm is handmade.

I don't know if the way the pages lie would make it a very good journal, possibly a travel journal to stick brochures and tickets in, but not an everyday, Morning Pages, kind of thing. It does take well to being used as a sketchbook, though. So far pencils and charcoals have of course been fine, but it even takes watercolour if painting dry on dry and not using too much water. There's only a little bleed-through from coloured pens as well. The cover is quite nice in a kind-of bohemian artist vibe way.
