I am very impressed with this product! Because I have a lizard phobia and live in Georgia, I have tried just about every product to get rid of them, from all those home remedies to professional extermination,all to no avail. This product really seems to work! My carport became over run with geckos so I sprayed this product all over my walls and they were gone. I had to treat it again a few weeks later because they began to return and they’ve been gone since. Also, I treated my boyfriend’s front walk going to his door because he had several regular lizards that liked to hang out there and one treatment made them pack up and leave. In addition to its effectiveness, it is not a solution of foul smelling and unhealthy toxins like so many other products I’ve tried. This actually smells wonderful since the ingredients are clove, peppermint, and cinnamon oils. A lizard actually got in my boyfriends house while I was there alone!!! After he came immediately home and rescued me, I sprayed this product quite heavily all over his house. I could never have done that with a typical toxic spray. His house smelt like a nice fall day, plus knowing how well this product worked outside, I feel confident no more lizards will be interested in moving inside with the smell of this is everywhere. I don’t usually leave such a long review, but after exhausting literally every other option to no avail and finally finding something that makes my life less scary because it works AND smells lovely, I will sing praises for this Lizard Defense ALL day!

I purchased Exterminators Choice Gecko & Lizard Defense Spray hoping it would keep lizards away from areas around my home, but unfortunately it did not work as advertised. After applying the spray according to the directions, I continued to see lizards in the same locations with no noticeable reduction in activity. The product simply did not repel them.On the positive side, the spray bottle is easy to use and provides good coverage. Application was quick and convenient, and the scent is actually pleasant compared to many pest-control products that have strong chemical odors. I appreciated that the smell was not overpowering and dissipated nicely.However, effectiveness is the most important factor for a lizard repellent, and this product fell short in that regard. Despite multiple applications, the lizards appeared completely unaffected and continued to frequent the treated areas. Based on my experience, the product did not deliver the results promised.If you're looking for a spray that is easy to apply and has a nice scent, this may meet those expectations. But if your primary goal is to repel geckos and lizards, I cannot recommend it because it was ineffective in my case.

Seems to work pretty well and noticed that it had the same scent (peppermint) as another product I had used to repel mice. Use it once or twice a week and does seem to keep the lizards at bay. I can see them around the perimeter, but they usually don't cross the line. Mice seem to be staying away too. Only complaint I have is with the sprayer. Doesn't work that well. I have taken to pouring what I need into a one liter spray bottle and using it that way.

I had such luck with rodent and small animal defense, that I figured I'd try the same people's product for getting rid of lizards. As a mother of an almost three-year-old and being currently pregnant, safety of ingredients was paramount. I also don't want to harm any of the pests or anything else that may come in contact with this product, so this was a great fit.Coming from Connecticut, no one warned me that lizards (especially geckos) were something of a common thing to run into down here in Mississippi. I quickly learned this after moving here, haha! I love lizards, actually, but geckos kinda freak me out, and no variety is really welcome to hole up in our home. After finding geckos all over the house (in the garage scaring the poop out of me mid-workout, behind the pictures...also scaring me when the pictures were knocked off the wall, in light fixtures...scaring me when I look up to dry my hair and see a lizard stuck in there...) I decided we had to fix this. My poor heart wouldn't hold out with all these surprise visitors, haha. I sprayed this product around the garage door, the door leading to the house from the garage, and around all the doors and windows both inside and outside. It's only been a few days, but I can say I haven't seen any of our usual daily visitors. Usually I have to capture and release two or three geckos and put them outside, but there haven't been any since using the spray. I'm not concerned about my daughter touching the application sites (but I don't encourage it! Stinky!), and overall it's a nice thing to just apply when I think of it and forget it. Highly recommend!

The Lizzards will immediately run however they come RIGHT back! They do NOT deter them one single bit! They literally come right back the moment you stop spraying! But it will run them out of their hiding spots. I had somewhat of an infestation behind my shutters and porch light. This ran them out where they ran onto the sticky traps I had to eventually partner with this spray! The spray alone did not help. But it will flush them out so you can catch them on sticky traps used for mice. This is how I finally ended my creepy lizard problem. But I will say this stuff smells absolutely minty amazing!

Helps to keep unwanted creatures away from doors and windows

This product DOES NOT work! Ive sprayed this by my front door & windows and its seems to be ATTRACTING lizards and geckos. Not worth purchasing.

Sadly, it didn’t work for me, I have a severe phobia of lizards and it seemed to attract three times more but the stuff smelled really good .
