D&D Futon Furniture Black/red Zabuton Zafu Set, Yoga, Meditation Seat Cushions, Kneeling, Sitting, Supporting Exercise Pratice Zabuton & Zafu Cushions.

I own one of the red set and have owned it for about a year. I have a low, Japanese-style dining table on carpet and sit on this set at the table instead of a chair. Both pieces have stayed firm and nice, no weird bunching, and it's very comfortable. The base is, essentially, a thick, mini-futon. You can't feel the floor through it at all. I wish the cover came off for cleaning, it's permanent on the bottom mat, but otherwise no complaints. I just ordered another 3 for the rest of the spots around the table and plan to order two more shortly.Guests who have used the cushion have also commented on how comfortable it is. Sitting on the floor to dine is unusual in the US, so it's important to have welcoming, comfortable seats for guests. I have been very pleased with this set.

This product is definitely better than the floor, a lot better. I've come to realize that sitting isn't hard, but the brain makes it hard. So if you find it difficult Now to painlessly sit in a chair or on a pillow or on your mattress, it will STILL be difficult with this Zafu set. However, if you wrestle with wanting the perfect posture, or increasing the time you sit, this WILL take you a step closer, but it will still be hard, but easy. It's just sitting after all. :) Honestly, what takes you closer to a "right" comfortable posture is just sitting, everyday, over and over. So why not 5 stars? Because it has a funky chemical smell. I think the fabric protectant they put on it, which makes it durable, emits that IKEA like chemical smell.

This product satisfies comfort and functional requirements for daily meditation. I use only the Zabuton part, which I've found to be just the right size for floor sitting. It is significantly better than using a standard cushion (what I did previously) and I've had no issues with any scratchiness etc. The cushioning has compressed a little over time, but that's a benefit from my point of view. It's not necessarily a "luxe" product but it's aesthetically pleasing and also pleasant to use.

I'm not one to go and buy the best of the best of fad items (I really hate to think of Zazen- or any other type of meditation- as a fad, but businesses sure do) because they just aren't the best for the money.This is much cheaper than many and is just as practical. The zafu is firm, yet very comfortable and I rather like the rectangular shape to it. The zabuton is more comfortable and serves its purpose well.If looking for a bargain on a great product, this is definitely what you're looking for.Hope this helped!MarkPS... there are more colors of this same set if these colors don't appeal to you.

I am new to Buddhism, having only been meditating and on the path of the Bodhisattva for three years and I had been looking for something like this for my home altar for awhile..This item is perfect, and for under 100 dollars its great as a mainstay of my altar. It looks great, I use it for my bed as a pillow too and I used the 2nd pillow(which is considerably more solid) to not only sit my butt on when I meditate but to lean on when reading and I use both cushions for yoga! Not to mention my dog absolutly loves both of them! Excellent value and quality!

I wanted a nice zafu/zabuton set for my meditation practice.I didn't need the best of the best. Just something decent and, hopefully, decent looking.I looked at the sets packed with buckwheat. But reading about the possible bug problem put an end to that for me.I found this set, liked how it looked and decided to order it, even though it had no reviews. So I wasn't sure if I'd be disappointed when I got it, but I'm not.It's a really nice set. Very comfortable. Nice and roomy. And nice looking.I'm really happy with it.

My granddaughter has had multiple hip and leg surgeries. She practices meditation and I was looking for a product that would make her more comfortable. The Zabuton Zafa set filled the bill. According to Ellie, the set is comfortable and makes it possible for her to meditate without physical aches and pains. I think I may have to buy a set for myself. With Amazon's help, I gave her a present she talks about continuously

Having listened to some theories about meditation, I decided to buy this Zabuton/Zafu set. I know it's used by most for Buddhist meditation, but I don't use it for that. I just find it comfortable. I sit down, settle in, and just breathe and think good thoughts for at least a half hour. I find this Zabuton/Zafu set useful for my purposes. A great deal. Five stars.
