This works well with my pans to stop any splatters of oil going over my cooker and I like this as no long handle for me to keep knocking , I have used with large and smaller pans ,quick to arrive and good price

This is the 2nd of these that I have had. The first lasted 3 years or so before the rim coming away from the mesh. As far as product life goes, this was fine for the price paid. However, this replacement seems fractionally smaller so doesn't rest on the edge of my pan quite as easily.

The wire mesh came away from the frame the first time it was washed. After the mesh, the handle would be the next weak point. The guard is large and feels too heavy for the handle to cope with. Holding it out straight, it felt like the handle would bend under the weight of the frame. My user experience was that this item is cheaply made and not fit for purpose. Buy one and yours might be too.
