Work great for pool solar as vacuum breaker valves
I'm using these as a vacuum breaker / bleed valves for rooftop pool solar. They work perfectly. The body contains a plastic floating ball (nothing to rust or corrode) which seals once it has floated to the top of the valve body. They work as both bleeders and vacuum breaker devices (which allow water to flow back to the pool at night). The system uses conventional pool heaters so temperatures are never more than 90F at the valve.

This works flawlessly on my 12" irrigation pipe
As the water comes through the pipe, it compresses the air in the closed pipe. This device allows me to release the air and still leave the pipe closed.

Works great.
I put this on the discharge of a submersible pump in a 3,500 gal tank. It helps prevent freezing on the discharge line. Works great. Fast delivery and the price is reasonable.

Did exactly what it was supposed to for a great price
I also use this for a vent for a solar pool heater. Thanks for the idea from one of the other reviewers. Works perfectly for that. Be aware it will shoot a little water out as soon as you pressurize it each time, so locate in a location where a little water won’t matter.

Air vent and vacuum release from Drip Depot fixed my air bound issue on my garden bed drip lines
This product was recommended since my drip system is nearly 200 feet long and wouldn’t auto start till I bled out the air in the lines. My son installed it easily near the turn on valve and it fixed our problem.
