KAO Prettia Bubble Hair Color, Natural Ash

I have black Asian hair and this works well in a natural subtle way. It shows well in the sun and different lightings! I bought two of this product of the same color and dyed my hair two times but I dyed it the second time after three weeks and I think it showed a LOT more the second time because I left it on longer (about 40min to an hour). If you want the color to be even and not have the roots be lighter than the rest of your hair, then start from the bottom of your hair to the top! The color lasts a few weeks but it is SO worth buying! It also comes with a repair conditioner for your hair so that it doesn’t get so damaged and it makes my hair smell kind of good and makes it feel soft! Depending on your hair type and if you’ve had it dyed or bleached, different results may vary. Thank you!

When it first came out the color has a subtle green in it. After about 4 washes the green tone is gone, the color is still tamed on my black Asian hair. Nothing orange which is what dark hair folks should look for

Difficulty:Very easy to use! This was my first time dying my thick dark asian hair and I did not encounter any problems with using the foamy applicator. However, there aren't any instructions in English, so I highly recommend watching their tutorial available on the KAO youtube channel (I will link it here: [...])Colour:After dying my hair, I didn't really notice much of a difference in indoor lighting. My hair still looked very dark and only the tips had some colour that resembled the girl on the packaging. After going into natural lighting, there was a subtle change and my hair colour was only about one shade lighter (a very dark brown). I was quite disappointed at first but after 4-5 washes, I noticed that the colour just got lighter and lighter, until it resembled somewhat an orange colour in sunlight.Duration:The picture attached is what my hair colour looks after 3 months of dying. As you can see, the tips have turned a warm orange colour under sunlight and overall, my hair has turned 2 shades lighter than my original dark hair colour. The duration of the pink colour did not last for me, and it looks a bit washed out overtime.Conclusion:Overall, this product will not give you the "glamorous shiny pink hair effect" you see on the packaging if you have virgin black asian hair, but it will lighten your hair 1-2 shades (depending on the thickness) and it will give you a nice pink or reddish tint under sunlight. You would have to re-purchase and dye your again as the colour will not last very long, but overall, it does its job for the price. Plus, the conditioner provided really does protect your hair for the first few washes, but like any hair dye, the tips of your hair will be a little damaged and frayed.Will I re-purchase this product? YES, because It's a good price and works extremely well on asian hair! (I'll probably go for another colour though)

Very disappointed. This is the first hair dye I've tried that failed to cover any of my gray hair...now I'm scrambling to find a good root cover up spray that I'll have to use until I can dye my hair again. Easy to use and pretty color otherwise, but if you have any grays, try something else.

My first time try this kind of dyed it was easy quick and fun !!! I never knew that I could actually do it myself without anyone helping me! It’s just like wash your hair and wait for 30 mins the color changed and it looks great ! But one thing I can’t give this purchase 5 stars was I found that I can get it right in my area the Japanese super market and they are 5 dollars cheaper !!
