I don't have a direct answer for you but the speaker has 4 ears for mounting that have elongated screw holes to allow some variance. If you use the supplied grilles the distance of the screw holes in the supplied grilles are 5 1/2 inches apart. That matched with the factory screw holes in my Jeep. The required minimum mounting depth is 1 3/4", minimum mounting hole diameter is 4 1/2". It uses spade lug terminals, two sizes positive is the larger. The set comes with 2 wire harnesses with the spade lugs attached, and two crimp butt splice connectors, red, meaning meant for 22 to 16 gauge wire. You can crimp them with a generic crimp tool available at all the hardware and auto supply stores. I recommend buying extra butt splice connectors because I messed up on one of them and it failed the pull test. Pull test, lightly try to pull the connection apart. If it withstands a light pull it's OK.

What is the exact measurement(side to side) of the faceplate?

The outer diameter of the outer ring part of the Kicker faceplates is 6 1/8". But there are some decorative details molded in that the absolute outside diameter at the widest part is 6 3/8"
