What is the effective range of this binoculars (day time and night time) for seeing say a 3’x3’ target...1000 yards?

With the built in IR illuminator turned to 5, I can see well over 100 yards clearly. If you do not turn on the illuminator you can not see a thing. I love these for night time excursions.

Do these have a setting for night vision in green??

The binoculars have some vision at night, but not like a true night vision. The photos in the brochure pretty well show how it is. Overall they are good for being able to take a photo or a video of things you are looking at. Enjoy, we do. We bought 2 pairs.

If the question is referring to the range finder of the binoculars, the range finder can switch between yards and meters.

This is good for 10m or 12 yrds?
