I really enjoy reading these poems, viewing the paintings and touching the book and this book truly feels like a treasure in my hand. Fairly speaking, this book is far better than the Chinese ancient poem books sold in China. I recommend this book to local libraries so children interested in learning Chinese can have an opportunity to borrow this book and learn Chinese poems. In fact, I have purchased 10 books on Amazon and am sending these books to my young relatives in China for them to enjoy. I also gave this book to an adopted Chinese boy and I hope he will enjoy learning the Chinese poems. As a reader, I truly appreciate the author's tremendous efforts to bring this book to the reading world of young children. In fact, the author is very dedicated to introducing wonderful poems to children. I look forward to more wonderful books from the author Slow Rabbit!

This is a great collection of simple Chinese poems ... and I love that the pinyin is included, for one who is learning Chinese ... and I also find that it works well with "Poems of the Masters" by Red Pine, since I am able to see his translation of a number of the poems.

Excellent choice for native Chinese speaking parents to teach very young kids to read Chinese characters and to recite poems at the same time. The selection of poems is age appropriate. The layout and font is good for teaching characters.

Excellent picks! Both poems and the paintings are carefully picked/arranged. Poems are simple and short enough for kids to memorize and deep enough to provoke thinking. Pictures are very classical Chinese paintings, simple, but with lot of untold stories to be found. They match the poems perfectly! My kids and I love the book!

This book is a collection of very famous ancient Chinese poems with beautiful illustrations enhancing the reader’s aesthetic enjoyment. The selected poems are simple enough for my kids to follow; yet classic for us adults to appreciate the beauty of Chinese language. We are very happy about this purchase.
