PARA’KITO Mosquito Repellent Wristband - (Black)

Used this one for a week trip to Zambia in the rainy season. Used it in combination with the spray of the same brand. To my surprise I didn't get bitten once. Will use it again for sure. Did use a mosquito net at night and kept it on my wrist 24h/day expect when showering.

Looks very nice and very useful too.

Mosquitos absolutely love me and I am allergic to Deet. I bought a few different styles of the Parakito bracelets for myself and my sons who don’t get bit like I do. They completely leave my boys alone while wearing these and help me ward off most mosquitoes while I’m wearing them. I do wear one on an ankle and one on a wrist. During dawn and dusk hours I will still get bit but not nearly as much as without the bracelets. Before buying these we were using the coiled citronella bracelets but that smell alone is completely overpowering and would make me sick to my stomach after awhile. I am thankful I found these bracelets. I do understand their limitations and am still cautious as to when I go out during mosquito season but they help a ton. I’d rather have one or two bites than quite literally 30 of them. I would recommend these. I bought them of my own accord and was not paid to give a good review. They are pricey but worth the comfort and functionality of them I feel. They are way better than the cheap coil ones. Because the citronella is diluted with other oils it definitely makes the scent much easier to deal with. I also do put lavender and peppermint oil directly on my hair, neck and ankles to help ward away mosquitoes and all of it together makes it much more enjoyable to be outside.

Works great! I did notice that when I got really sweaty it seems to not work as well. Maybe because I stink more! Lol

I tried this product last summer on a trip to Normandy for D-Day ceremonies. I knew it would be a beachy, marshy, mosquito-infested area & I didn't want to smell like DEET the entire vacation. The purchase was a gamble, and it paid off. This product has been totally effective as a bug repellent and it's aroma is actually pleasant IMO. Could not be easier; you wear on ankle or wrist (with the repellent insert) and you're good to go. Used it all summer; it goes through the wash. It's durable. Color selection great. Somehow I lost mine over the winter & after a few days of enduring sticky, smelly applications of Deet, Off, Deep Woods, etc re-ordered one in red/white/& blue for me & one for my daughter. Could not be happier with it. I walk my dog daily through grass, wooded areas, heavily treed areas, etc. Bugs don't come near; not a single bite last summer or this one.

Funciona muy bien llevo más de 8 años usándolas cuando viaje a la playa y me encanta Xke no termino con todas las piernas picadas se los recomiendo mucho
